Christie Dustman does beautiful work and really knows her stuff. In our most recent collaboration, she designed a large and complex garden at one of our projects in Newton, with stone walls, patios, beautiful landscape, and a vegetable garden! The design works beautifully with the architecture, the installation is great, and our clients are delighted!

I once described a Christie Dustman garden as fecund - it was late spring and the garden was embarrassingly lush and full. Compared to the neighboring properties which still looked shell shocked from the winter, her garden was gorgeously colorful. She is passionate about her work, always curious and learning, and her work reflects her perfectly!

Christie designed a garden for the front of our urban ranch house which was installed in the summer of 2011. Her design included a paver walkway and driveway, and a meandering pea stone path that transformed an ordinary front yard into graceful curves and niches with multiple focal points on an amazing variety of plants. The result was unique and strikingly beautiful. In spring of 2013 I hired Christie again to landscape the back of the house, a messy, complicated space bordering a pond, and that result too was spectacular. Christie and her crew are a pleasure to work with: I always feel genuinely happy to see them pulling up in front of the house. The crew are super people: affable, timely, tidy and hardworking, a true team who accomplishes its tasks quietly and efficiently. Christie is very easy to talk to, so imaginative, knowledgeable and thoughtful. She’s honest and straightforward. She meets deadlines and sticks to the budget. She’s an uncommon combination of a very serious person who’s also very fun! We recommend her wholeheartedly!

A few years ago we hired Christie to design what is now a stunningly magical woodland sanctuary in our backyard. Her design gifts and collaborative nature brought such value and beauty to our property. We loved it so much that we hired her again (along with her team of sprites) to extend the vision to the front of our property. She creatively designed her way around a few pesky preexisting issues that we've been wrangling with for years. Needless to say, her "outside of the box" creative solutions made for a gorgeous result. The nitty gritty reality- with both projects she finished On budget- and with No invoice surprises! She saved us time and money by artfully working with the existing natural elements of the landscape and adding her own congruent signature finesses. We are so in love with our unique landscape jewel, and apparently, so is our UPS man. Last fall I noticed him stop still in his tracks with a package in hand, staring out into the foot of our front walkway. I called out to ask if everything was ok? Shaking his head he looked up with a big smile and said, "Wow! So unique, I've seen em' all...who did your walkway?!"

The first time I met Christie I was impressed not only with her deep knowledge of plants but her creative design vision as well, what an amazing combination! In 2011 we embarked on a large project with her which included complete regrading, drainage, brick patio, planting beds and of course wonderful plants as well. What a joy it is to look out my window in any season to see how the landscape has evolved. Most recently Christie designed a gorgeous brick and granite walkway for us along with new trees and shrubs which have transformed the front of our home from tired to beautiful. Most of all there is a level of trust in Christie and her crew, we know she delivers great quality in all aspects of her work!

Christie and her amazing team are thoughtful, creative, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I have a dense garden with many different areas and this company has worked with me to make it lush and gorgeous. Trees, shrubs, perennials, plant health, design and cleanup are all managed incredibly. I have worked with this company for 10 years and have made many changes -- they are flexible and exciting to work with!

I hired Christie Dustman & Co. in the Spring of 2014 to design the gardens of my new home and the company continues to maintain it to this day. Christie was great to work with and did a great job of using what was already there and adding to it. Our favorite part about the design is that there is always something blooming and providing visual interest to our home. The crew is very knowledge and experienced in what they do and are very nice people. The crew works hard and is happy to answer questions even when they come from my young children. I would highly recommend Christie and her team!
