The work was outstanding, Chris was great to work with, and you did the work fast and helped us meet a tight timeline (getting the floors refinished just before Thanksgiving and before we moved into a new house a week later). At some times the communications was not great, but the work was top-notch and Chris inspired confidence -- which was borne out in the results. Would highly recommend.

Worst Experience I ever had. To start with they told me it will be installed in a week. Then it took 2 weeks for them to fix a date for the install. They came on time and ripped everything apart and later told me that they don't have enough carpet to cover everything. Are you serious? Waiting for 2 weeks and now they have to order the new carpet. Another 4 days. They left the floor with all the nails facing upwards and did not bother to install a temporary old carpet to cover it. I have two toddlers and it was hard for me to keep them away from it. No Professional behavior from them. On top of it, the installed carpet had the nail coming out and hurts everyone stepping on that section of the carpet. Now I started feeling like, I would have gone with someone else. There will be no update from Lisa (Hillsborough office) unless you call her. She always says she is not aware that the contractors left the floor without finishing it for 4 days. No ethics. the contractors are rude and never accepts that they have done something wrong with the installation .nail coming out of the carpet and hurting someone's feet is normal to them and he says that. I will never recommend them to anyone. Please find a better one. UPDATE: Chris called me and apologized for everything that we faced. He offered a partial refund for our bad experience with the installation. I should admit that the carpet is good so far and we liked it. Increasing the rating to 3.

Quality products and great customer service. Nothing but professionalism from Nancy and installation crew. Nancy was able to match the new hardwood with the existing, she always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend FCI.

Nancy and her installers are very hands on. They are extremely responsive and professional. We love our hard wood floors and would contract with Nancy again without hesitation for our next project!

FCI in Hillsborough is extremely responsive during all aspects of a job. As a contractor, it is a real pleasure to work with Nancy Shipley, the owner. She always anticipates our needs and makes sure every step of the job goes as planned and if it doesn't, she takes care of that right away too. Highly recommend.

Worry free". From first meeting, right advice and suggestions. Provided options without being "pushy". Handled everything from moving furniture, repairing floors, to moving furniture back in place. Sent pictures of work in progress so felt like I was there, without having to take time from work. A delight! And great work! (Score 10 out of 10)
