Chris listens very well to his clients and he seems to understand exactly what they are looking to accomplish. Chris of CZ Working did an incredible job building a one-of-a-kind farm table and rolling barn doors for our new home in Berwyn. Though we built a traditional farmhouse on the outside, our interior has a transitional flare so it was important to incorporate both. Chris nailed it and we could not be happier with the job he did and the final products. Chris is super responsive, listens to his clients, and is ridiculously talented. We could not be happier and have referred Chris to multiple friends.

Absolutely exceptional product, service and overall experience. Would highly recommend for any project. As you can see this coffee table is a work of art and is the focal piece of our family room. I had a concept that Chris made a better then hoped for reality. Thanks again!

Wow. What can we say?! We are THRILLED with our built in bunk beds and Barn Doors. Chris and his team hand-crafted beautiful pieces that were exactly what we were looking for in those spaces. We could tell from very early conversations that Chris and his team had so much talent, experience and knowledge. For two people that don’t have much experience with custom builds, Chris made us feel comfortable, he had great suggestions as the projects moved forward and made us feel completely confident in the finished product. I cannot say enough good things about working with Chris and C.Z. Woodworking. Living in a historic home that dates to 1850 has its challenges, but none more so than closets. With a large attic on the fourth (4th) floor, we had plenty of space to build the closet, but we needed someone with both the vision and ability, which brings me to Chris. When we first met Chris and discussed our need for a large, cedar walk-in closet, he was extremely excited at the prospect. That enthusiasm never waned even when we showed him the location and the fact that materials had to come up four flights of stairs through a house that my wife had perfectly restored. Nor did it diminish, when he realized d nothing was straightforward or easy because of the age of our home. The project came out PERFECTLY with no problems, no issues, no damage and all in record time. Chris even approached us with ideas we would never have thought of to get natural light into the space reusing an antique window that was period for the home to allow light to come in from the unfinished part of the attic! The bottom line, is I believe Chris and the C.Z. Woodworking team can tackle any project and execute it to perfection.

We had Chris build an amazing rustic kitchen table and mantle for our home. Working with him was an absolute pleasure from the initial time we reached out via the website, through design discussions, and then with delivery & installation. Chris Zumpano is a true artisan and professional. I called Chris and he came over just once to take measurements and discuss our project. I gave him an inspiration photo to start from. He returned a design and professional project back to us in t timely manner. The space was challenging and in a 100+ yr. old home with all the nuanced quirkiness that brings with it. Chris recently made and installed a gorgeous wood mantle for our fireplace. It looks amazing. We are very happy with the results! Chris came to the house multiple times to go over the specifications, wood type and stain. He was very professional and worked with me to create the exact mantle I was envisioning.
