Fernando is a great guy to work with! His outfit did the extensive steel ramadas around the pool and masonry walls for street landscape of Orchard River Townhomes (HOA). The work is good and the prices very reasonable. East end of Fort Lowell Park, drive by and take a look.

We just built a home in the Tucson mountains. Love the house and setting but something was missing. We realized it was our outdoor space that was lacking. Between the house and everything else we had missed that most important part. Some friends referred Fernando, so we called him and he came out the next day! He walked our bare acre, listened to our ideas, and came back to us with a beautiful design. The way he took our little ideas and created something we couldn't even have imagined was incredible. The best part? He does the whole job - from design to construction! Just 6 weeks later we have an outdoor living space that we love and that completes our new home. Thank you Fernando!

Fernando has an amazing eye and attention to detail. When discussing design, I was not only intrigued by what he came up with, but fascinated at the thought and reasoning behind his choices and ideas. The knowledge base that Fernando draws from is obvious and extensive and is well paired with his imagination and vision. I would recommend Mr. Chiquette and his team without hesitation.

Fernando Chiquette designed and, with his crew, transformed our rather ordinary Foothills backyard into an extremely attractive and functional space. He presented a design with a low wall to create variation in height; with sculptured swales, berms, and walking paths among which we will eventually have our cactus and agave garden; and with paver pads and sitting walls to accommodate hot tub and gas fire pit. His crew was hard-working and competent, and he consistently met deadlines and his price estimates. We are thoroughly happy with his work, and would not hesitate to call upon him again for other jobs.

Fernando completed a project at our home last fall. My wife and I were very reluctant to go through with such a large project on our home but the professionalism, respect and understanding we were given made it an easy decision. I look back now and it was all well worth it. Fernando explained everything to us in great detail, cared about our opinions and made sure that we were on the same page through each step of the project. I cant say enough good things about Fernando and his company. I would highly recommend him to others looking to have a one of a kind landscape job that is designed the way you want. Still UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I hired Tanque Verde Construction for a backyard design. They began construction shortly after which is actually still underway. Fernando Chiquette, the owner, has been on the job every day with his employees who are all very respectful and work hard. After so many construction projects gone wrong, it is a relief to have someone like Fernando do our job. Their work is beautiful and they take pride in what they do. Their stone work and ramada building/woodworking skills are especially good. More photos to come soon!
