C&H Design Studio is an interior design firm specializing in residential projects in Austin, Texas. We’re committed to providing personalized experiences while creating individualized spaces that enhance the lives of our clients. C&H Design Studio has wide-ranging experience assisting clients with their design needs. We are here to help you take your project from schematic design through construction, offering site visits and coordination with your chosen contractor. Our aim is to maximize each project's efficiency, budget and integrity of design. Whether a simple refresh, or a more involved kitchen or bath renovation, room addition or full home remodel, we give each of our clients the personalized experience they deserve, and provide exceptional service and attention to detail on each project. Calla Parker | Lead Interior Designer Calla has 10 years of experience leading design projects ranging from small renovations to fully custom remodels. She has a great working knowledge of process, scheduling, and interior architecture, and she offers each client a design experience that is fun, engaging, and uniquely tailored to their vision. Helen Hankla | Lead Interior Designer Helen graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture). She has over 15 years of experience in hospitality, commercial and residential architecture, interior design and construction; and she's passionate about creating beautiful and practical spaces that enhance people’s quality of life.

We hired C&H to design the main living spaces in our new home. They were thoughtful and attentive in listening to our requests, and responded with choices that we are incredibly happy with. We implemented all of their ideas over the course of a few months. We liked them so well we hired them again to revamp our master bathroom.

Helen and Calla are incredible to work with. They did an excellent job taking in what my husband and I wanted, but didn't totally agree on, for our project and bringing it together to our final vision. They are incredibly responsive to feedback and were willing to work with us to make the changes we felt would be best. They were very patient with us during the times we were busy and not overly responsive to their emails. I would work with them again in a heartbeat and have already recommended them to numerous friends and neighbors.

I highly recommend C&H Design. They helped refresh our downstairs with new flooring and paint, light fixtures and some furniture. They were very responsive in all communication, had great ideas that was in line with our style and budget, and are just kind and fun people.

We love C&H! They are a solid team. Calla & Helen care about each project as if it was their own house. We hired them for two different large projects. The first project was our laundry room addition and powder bath, the second project is our kitchen renovation (still going on). From discussing the initial concepts and crafting meticulous drawings to the final installation, their attention to detail is what makes every project a success. In addition to their excellent skill set & design taste, their respect & awareness of what I needed as a client was always a top priority. I'd hire them again in heartbeat. (I wish I had more pictures on hand to share.)

Calla and Helen are amazing at what they do! They helped us design many of the rooms in our house, some of which was picking new furniture and art pieces, and others were complete remodels. They listened to our input and spent time in our home to get a better idea of or preferences and what we wanted. They immediately started offering helpful suggestions and we were able to start our renovations quickly. They spent time and effort making selections for us, and if we were hesitant about an idea or product, they would offer other suggestions. They were considerate of our budget and our family life and gave us design ideas that stayed in our price range and would accommodate our busy family life. We highly recommend Calla and Helen for helping design a beautiful space. We will definitely use them again for our future projects.

They brought fresh ideas to the table, pivoted on a dime when needed, and really helped tie all of our contractors together (construction, architect, etc) even though that wasn’t even their core job. Our house is so much better because of C&H, and we’d recommend them in a heartbeat — and have many times!
