Interiors Etc. is a full service interior design firm which manages every part of your project. We combine creative beauty with practicality for your home or business. So what does this mean for you? It means you get a person who will help you through the process of Interior Design by helping you to define your own style, find products you may not have considered, share our knowledge of Lighting, Color selection, Furniture acquisition and arrangement, Floorcoverings, Wallcoverings, Fabric and Window Treatment, Artwork and Accessories, while keeping in mind Pricing. Whew....that's a lot of knowledge! In some instances a client just wants the space "done", and we are happy to do just that, within some limits. We also have a working knowledge of the construction phase of the design and will work with your/ or our General Contractor and subcontractors to get the job done. We also have a service called 'One Day Decorating', where a designer will come to your home, use your own furniture so you have a new look. All in one day! Carol and I have been colleagues for over 30 years. During this time I have known Carol to be creative, honest, hard working and always willing to go the extra mile for her clients. She also is conscientious about adhering to the budget of her clients. She and I worked on both commercial projects, such as restaurants and numerous lobby spaces, as well as all aspects of residential spaces, large and small. Our projects together reflected our love for the field of Interior Design.

Carol is currently working with me to redo the "great room" in my Cambridge house, including reupholstery and window treatments. Carol earlier worked with me on an interior and exterior remodel of that 1930's house. I was completely new to the process: Carol was able to handle all the details from totally gutting and redoing the kitchen and bath to reconfiguring interior space, wrangling the contractors, designing decks, choosing interior and exterior colors, etc. She has great taste, an eye for detail, and was easy to work with, all on time and in budget.. The house has been described as "a little jewel box," and that would have been impossible to achieve without her guidance, vision and support.

Carol Chapman remodeled five rooms in my condo. With a limited budget she and her crew did an excellent job, including repairing badly cracked plaster walls. She has very good sense of color; each room was done in a different, muted color, which is what I wanted. She chose window treatments that enhanced the look of the condo and she helped me pick out new appliances. She worked well with her crew and did the work on schedule. I would highly recommend her.

Carol designed my kitchen and bathroom in my Cambridge, Ma. condominium. Before the process began she discussed the vision I had for the project and in turn translated that vision into reality. Carol worked within the budget I had allotted while not skimping on quality. Both my kitchen and bathroom have very unique dimensions and I thought that this would present several obstacles. This was not a problem for Carol. She was not only able to utilize every inch of space but did so in a very aesthetically pleasing way. Carol has great attention to detail and always handled the projects in a professional manner. She was always punctual for our meeting times and was well prepared. Since the completion of the work many friends and neighbors have admired the design that Carol has created with my kitchen and bathroom. Even though the work was completed a few yeas ago the design is such that it never has appeared "dated" and will undoubtedly continue to hold up beautifully for years to come.

My husband and I have used Carol Chapman for many years starting with a large house in Winchester, MA to our condo in Cambridge. She has great taste, is very creative, knows her fabrics and furnishings very well and is extremely professional. She was always on time and extremely pleasant and good-humored! I highly recommend her for any interior job whether it be home or office. She did custom-made draperies for both house and condo, reupholstered a large sofa, picked carpets and remodeled our condo kitchen.
