A wonderful business run efficiently by Leigh and Shannon; their tradesmen are fantastic with an excellent foreman. While replacing my shadecloth 'roof' with solarspan panels, their foreman kept me in the loop, asking questions to confirm tasks and informing me along the way what was going to happen on each day and also how to take care of the solarspan panels. They were all friendly and pleasant and I'm very pleased I chose Canberra Decks. Thank you so much Leigh, Shannon and your team of workers.

Our full experience with Canberra Decks was nothing short of brilliant. From start to finish they were consumately professional. Leigh was onsite promptly, provided an accurate quote and responded rapidly to our requests for changes. The work was completed at lightning speed. From acceptance of quote to completed job took less than 3 weeks. The team has exceptional attention to detail. Leigh inspected teh site each day to ensure that it was progressing as required. Nothing less than a perfect outcome was provided. They even cleaned down the site after each days work. I would not hesitate to get them back for additional work and cannot speak highly enough about Leigh and his team. I have had mixed experiences with other providers in the past and can say that Leigh and Canberra Decks set a benchmark of service that will be very hard to beat.

The team at Canberra Decks came promptly to inspect our balcony and provided a quotation within 48 hours for its repair. They expertly advised as to how to approach the repairs. The workmen were courteous and helpful in removing all furniture and flowerpots from the balcony and returning same once the job was completed. Their workmanship was of the highest quality.

Very happy with the job that Canberra Decks did for us, which was a feature deck and bench seats as part of a much larger landscaping job. Leigh and his team communicated well with us throughout and were very responsive. They worked closely with the landscaper and the designer. The only issue was a delay in the supply of materials part-way through the job, but Leigh explained the reasons for this, and the delay didn't cause us any inconvenience. We are very pleased with the final result.

Canberra Decks completed a great job adding to our existing pool paving and surrounds. The extension was designed to join to the existing pavers plus add a combination bench seat and modwood step, on part of the perimeter. The finished work blends perfectly with the original stone and provides us with more usable area for seating plus walking around. I highly recommend Canberra Decks for their design and workmanship, they have made our pool area more usable, it looks professional and suits our original landscaped pool area.

Canberra Decks have just completed the replacement of my deck railings, stairs and pergola roof and rejuvenated the decking planks. They were prompt, very professional and accommodating and the team were able to answer any questions that came up as the job progressed. The initial consult helped to flesh out what I was looking at and Leigh's experience was able to provide comment and guidance on aspects that I hadn't even considered, such as painting the pergola rafters a lighter colour to match the new roofing, thereby giving the deck area a more open feel. The view from the deck is much clearer with cabling, the pergola roof offers much better summer protection and openness and the deck itself has come up an absolute charm. Overall an excellent outcome quite exceeding my expectations. I will certainly engage them for future projects and maintenance.

Canberra Decks recently replaced a large old wrap around deck and pergolas. Leigh helped us with our vision of revamping the space to integrate with the new pool and had great ideas and practical suggestions. The entire team were so professional and courteous, even down to the little things like cleaning up at the end of each day and their willingness to answer all our questions along the way really made us feel like they were all invested in doing the best job. It really made this renovation project a breeze, and we love the new space.

Leigh and his team were the consumate professionals from start to finish. During the quoting phase Leigh turned up on time and provided a range of design options for us to consider. In terms of service and execution, he was streets ahead of some of the businesses quoting on the work. We were travelling when work started and Leigh kept in contact with us to talk us through the process and challenges arising from the build . Now that the work is finished we're super happy with the quality of the finished products (it looks amazing!). Should we ever need a deck again we'll be going back to Canberra Decks

Leigh and his on-site team, led by Damir, have recently completely replaced a large deck at our place. Every stage of the process was really stress free - from the quote through to final cleaning. At the quote stage, Leigh visited the site twice to make sure we were all agreed on the materials and design of the deck. Removal of the old deck went really well with the old site cleared including various other rubbish that had accumulated under the deck. The build itself took about a week with Damir happy to discuss small queries we had. The other team members were all very polite and respectful even to the point of asking if it was ok to use our hose. (Some home owners must be really painful to work for if they won't let the team use a hose!!!!). The final touches were very detailed with the one of the team pressure hosing the new deck and carefully removing any tiny amounts of glue residue (which I couldn't even notice were there!). Finally the whole backyard surrounding the new deck was left exactly as it was found 10 days before - all scraps etc removed. Overall, I couldn't fault the process and the price was very competitive with three other quotes we obtained. Highly recommded.

My experience with Canberra Decks was exceptional from start to finish. In the quote and planning phase the Project Manager provided a comprehensive view of how such a project would unfold, and took me through all of the choices to be considered. He confidently answered all of my questions and demonstrated a deep knowledge and experience in this field. The construction team were well resourced and professional. Also flexible in making some changes to plan as their work proceeded. The Project Manager was available to answer key questions that emerged throughout the build and I am very pleased with the high quality deck we now have. Canberra Decks was wonderful to work with! Leigh had a vision of how to replace our pool with a deck and gardens, and it worked! They were creative and adaptable during the entire process! From quote to receiving our occupancy certificate working with Leigh and the team from Canberra Decks has been a good experience; Leigh and Shannon provided is with everything we needed during the planning including recommendations that improved our outcomes. During the build their on site team were 100% professional as were the dealings with the building inspectors. The only question we have (as I type this on the deck over a cup or tea) why didn't we do this earlier?

Canberra Decks was selected to restore my deck in Canberra, in August 2020. The deck had been oiled some months earlier with a faulty product. The restoration involved stripping the two coats of ‘oil’, then applying two timber preparation products, before re-oiling the deck with two coats of the good oil. The work was carried out thoroughly and fully, sometimes in unpleasant weather conditions, and a couple of small repairs which had been needed for a while were also done. I am very pleased with the end result. Staff at Canberra Decks provided prompt service, responded well to messages and emails, and were professional in their work and all my dealings with them during the project. I would use Canberra Decks again for future work which I might not want to do myself.

The entire engagement in crafting and building our deck was exceptionally fantastic from start to finish - on schedule and on budget. Canberra Decks is a 5-star + business. Leigh and his team were outstanding from start to finish. My job was significant - a deck overhaul with replacement timber (composite was used), new wiring, lighting, roof and spa installation including flexibility whilst I delayed the works due to a large tree also being removed. Leigh and Shannon kept me informed and updated throughout the renovation process which took several months. I have 3 large labradors and the Canberra Decks team accommodated their work around my dogs and I didn't have to re-home them during this time. I cannot recommend Leigh and Shannon highly enough. A pleasure to deal with at all times and true professionals! I'm a very happy customer and my time, effort and money was well spent!

As a working interior designer specialising in commercial and residential design, it is imperative that I work with trades that are extremely professional, efficient and friendly. Canberra Decks has performed a number of tasks around my home most recently re laying our front pavers which had become buckled due to aged, overgrown tree roots and the laying of new tessellated tiles at our front entrance. It has taken me nearly two years to find a tiler in Canberra who possessed the specialised trades to perform this tedious task of laying these tessellated tiles. Not only did Canberra Decks do so perfectly, without complaint, with a concise eye for detail so rarely found today but also within budget.
