Working with Whittaker Parsons to extend and rejuvenate our compact Victorian home was a fantastic experience. From the outset Matthew and Camilla understood our vision and enhanced our initial ideas by challenging our assumptions and suggesting novel approaches and materials. In addition to Matthew and Camilla's pivotal role in the design, they were instrumental in delivering the project through their project management expertise. This was vital as we were not based in our home through the works and were both working long hours. This allowed the design to emerge fully from the vision we set out to achieve, with a consistent and proper focus on the final details which were so important to us. Our home is now a wonderful family space with continuous, open, naturally lit spaces, whereas previously spaces were enclosed, cluttered and disjointed. Matthew and Camilla have helped us expose the fabric of the new structure and bring both light and space into our home, as well as connect existing areas to make them feel much larger. All in all they have helped us add immeasurable value to our family life.

I worked with Whittaker Parsons on a roof extension to my flat, in the end we worked together for over a year. They were very professional, helpful and patient at all stages. They listened really well, paid attention to details and responded to my requests, including guiding me to understand the financial and scheduling implications of them, so that I did not make bad decisions. I generally liked the initial designs and felt the brief was responded to really well. The end result felt like something I had a part in designing and was immediately great to live in. Overall it was a good process and I would recommend them highly.

Whittaker Parsons completely redesigned the lower ground floor of our house (including moving the kitchen) and refurbished other areas including bathrooms and bedrooms. Matthew and Camilla took time to understand what we wanted from the house and showed considerable patience in helping us to choose the final design and the contractor. The project management and communication during the building phase was excellent as was the review of the work post completion. Throughout the whole process Whittaker Parsons were excellent - creative, patient (important for us) and highly professional in every aspect of their work. They were also a pleasure to work with. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Whittaker Parsons designed a an extension to our home (and did all the planning, tendering and project management). It involved significant internal re-modelling, further building and hard landscaping of the garden. They were superb from the start of the project to the end of the project. Brilliant imaginative design ideas coupled with great communication and project management skills - we could not have asked for more. They really maximized what we could do within our budget. Their design makes fantastic use of the space and light and their attention to detail on the project management side meant that the project came in on budget and the quality of the finish is really high. Their skill and hard work made what can be a really stressful process enjoyable and exciting for us. They took the time to listen to what we wanted and produced and executed a design that totally exceeded our expectations and what we thought was possible within our budget. We are thrilled with the results.

Whittaker Parsons designed an extension to our home. This included remodelling the ground floor, a new kitchen and bathroom, and hard landscaping in the garden. They have also overseen the tendering process and project managed the first phase of the work. Their design exceeded our expectations - as well as a great understanding of how spaces work and an ability to solve problems they also introduced materials and fittings that have made a real difference to the final design. Throughout the build, Whittaker Parsons kept a focus on high quality finish as well as budget control - managing the balance between these to make sure that the end product matched the initial specification. Overall, we have been extremely impressed with all areas of their work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We approached Whittaker Parsons with a very clear vision of how we wanted to renovate and extend our ground floor period flat. Camilla and Matthew took the time to get to know us, and understand what we wanted to get out of life at home. By combining their observations with their expertise and creativity, they were able to present us with a plan that challenged our preconceptions, yet was absolutely perfect for us. That really set the tone for their service - they have surpassed our expectations at every stage of our project since. And to top it off, they are lovely people who are an absolute joy to work with!

After being let down by another architectural firm working with Matt and Camila was an absolute delight. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted when they joined us, yet they were still able to add enormously with their imaginative ideas. One potential problem was that our extension could have been over baring for our neighbours, but their ability to reassure them and with a clever new design has actually led to us becoming better friends. My wife and I wanted to extend the house and needed plans drawn-up and submitted for planning permission. And while we were clear on the objectives, we were much less clear on how to achieve them.
