I used San Jose Movers to move from a small 2 bedroom apartment to a larger 3 bedroom duplex within Oakland and let me say, they exceeded all expectations! The guys arrived promptly on time with zero complaints about the six flight stairwell. They worked quietly and efficiently, carefully wrapping each item to ensure it was protected in the truck. They also broke down and re-assembled mine and my roommate's bed frames (huge time saver!). Once arriving at the duplex, they were careful to place items in the correct rooms and even arranged the furniture logically so that there was as little post-move work as possible. The management team, Jesse and Yotam, were so kind and helpful...an absolute pleasure to work with. I am so grateful to Winter Moving for making my move seamless and affordable. You guys are the best!

Moving was made easy with San Jose Movers. I saved 5% by mentioning Houzz. They are very professional and make you feel very at ease and wasted no time at all getting the job done. They were very courteous and handle my belonging as if they were their own. Moving is always a pain but, I would highly recommend this company to all my family members and friends because they were beyond accommodating with my move from San Jose to Hayward. They wasted no time and meet all my expectations.

San Jose Movers are great! I'm moving out of state, rented a 26' Penske truck to haul my stuff in. I had two locations that I was moving things from. Charlie sent out a couple of guys and man they didn't stop till the job was done! Packed my truck so good, I bet I could drive it to China with no mishaps. These guys are very professional, on time, hard working and not that expensive! They showed up with a 26' truck loaded with equipment, dollies etc READY to do what ever was needed! One could tell they had experience in moving, just by watching them work. I would rate this company a 10+, but Houzz won't let one rate that high. NO, I am not some one just singing praise for them. I'm an actual customer, and a satisfied one at that! I would definitely use them again, and I will recommend them to anyone that needs their outstanding services!

Moving was quite a daunting challenge! was so glad we hired a professional moving company to assist us. Our moving team arrived on time on the big day, and they really made the process easy. All of the costs were explained easily, and we were given a written easy to understand explanation of the costs, so there were no hidden charges. I had wondered how a moving company would do with our precious items, but I should not have worried. There were no damages at all, and the crew on the both ends that loaded and unloaded did their best to make sure everything was well packed, stored, and transported safely. With all of the other details involved in a long distance relocation, stressing over the logistic details was really the last thing we needed. it was such a relief to arrived and have all of our belongings arrive and placed where they needed to go. With my girls finding nearly everything new around the house to get into, it was such a blessing to have professional moving services to ensure our furnishings,

we were very happy with the service. the team was great - showed up on time, was very efficient and handled our items with great care. part of the problem we had was temperature sensitive wine collection, my husband was very concerned about that especially that it was a hot day. the team timed and managed it perfectly! we had to move to our new smaller home and have some of the items stored. the team guided us through this and helped us greatly with timing and organizing - by 3:30pm we were situated at our new home with all the furniture assembled and the storage very conveniently, ready to start our life at our new home. good job! Got a great vibe from the moment they answered the phone. San Jose Movers Offered a great service starts from the top, and Maoz Kadesh began my experience by gently asking questions about dimensions, number of boxes and furniture, etc., as well as my needs. He clearly understands customer service, and his care helped me to be clear about what I needed done. I had a very complicated move, which included moving a PIANO and other furnishings from a 3-bdrm / 2-bath house + garage into a 2-bdrm / 1-bath apartment in an older building on the SECOND FLOOR - no elevator. They were friendly, fast and great. Extremely professional and didn't waste anytime. The next day they called to ensure that my expectaions were met. Indeed they were.

Wow!, is all I can say. Any company can do well when everything goes smoothly and under normal circumstances. A company's real proof is in how they handle problems and the unexpected. The day of the move Agustin, Isaih, and Jose showed up (an hour early) and put some serious hustle into moving some rather heavy items out of my 2 bedroom apartment. They were polite and accommodating. They carefully disassembled, wrapped, and reassembled our furniture. I can go on and on about how wonderful they are, but if you are looking for a fast, reliable, professional mover who will take care of your stuff, look no further. SJM is who you should be hiring. If I ever have to move again, they will be first call. The next day Charlie contacted us and asked about our experienced which was great to know that they really valued our opinion.

This is the second time I've used San Jose Movers and I was really impressed with this moving company (more so than Bay Area Movers - I would not use Bay Area Movers again but would totally use San Jose Movers again although I hope not to move again for a long time!) I was impressed with a lot of the small details: talking to the owner (his cell phone, Eric) and he told me to call him anytime with any questions or concerns. I'd remembered the day before the move I wanted to call them to confirm, but was so busy packing I forgot. Later that day he called me to confirm so I thought that was a nice touch. They were to arrive at 9 am or 930 am and they arrived 2 minutes before 9 am, right on time! The movers were friendly and meticulous. The took great care in the items, even dusting some of them off. They were nice enough to stop on the way to drop off a desk at another household. Upon arrival, they lay down carpet on the pathways from the door through the hallway to protect the floors. They even asked if we had some felt pads to put on the bottom of a table so it would not scratch the floor! They wrapped everything very carefully in the movers bubble wrap/ cellophane, and pro-rated the hours at 3 hrs 45 minutes. I think other moving companies charge by the hour, so others would have charged for 4 hours. When I used Bay Area Movers I was amazed at how much I got charged for supplies (tape, wrapping) which was over $100, but San Jose Movers only charged for the 3.75 hours and tax. No charge for any supplies! I gave the 3 workers a nice tip each, and they were extremely appreciative of that and the water we provided. has indeed built up a top notch business, very high quality, and I'm very pleased and impressed with them!

Friday rolls around and Alfonso and Dan,show up at 8:30 am, well within the 8-9 am window. They immediately walked the house with me to see what we were moving (some things were staying behind). We had already moved most of the boxes, but needed assistance with the furniture. Come to find out it would have been roughly the same price to have them move everything after I factored in a u haul rental, gas, mileage and my time, next time I'll have them move it all! After walking the house they started loading the truck. Within 1.5 hours they had loaded the all of our furniture and several boxes and random items. I had a slight modification and needed to drop off a bed at my mom's house and they had no problem doing that. We then moved on to the storage unit. When we arrived I realized I had lost the keys to my lock. They still continued with unloading while I had the lock cut. While the lock was being cut I ran to McDonald to get them some lunch. They then ate very quickly and asked if they could take 5 minutes for a smoke break and not to worry because he was taking 15 minutes off the time, I wasn't worried at all and told them that would be fine. I appreciated that they asked and also appreciated that they didn't charge for their break time, even though it would have been fine. A couple hours later and the unit was packed tightly and they were off. The cost was good, especially once you figure in the yelp deal.
