Andrew is highly creative and listens patiently to his customers needs. While designing a home, he ensures that maximum of his customer needs are met and meticulously designs with BRILLIANT ideas. We remodeled our 65 year old home with Andrew's help. We had challenges in achieving our ideal new layout given the constraints of our existing home. Andrew gave use really good options to work with and finally designed a PERFECT home layout for us. He paid attention to every minute detail of the design and also added beautiful appeal adding so much elegance to the architecture. Also, Andrew's ideas for roof designs are amazing and extremely thorough. Our entire construction and designer team was in aww of how well the architecture plans were created. They had absolutely NO questions or confusion in understanding Andrew's design. Andrew also works with the city well to move the approval process along well. We have already recommended Andrew to few friends and will continue to do so. Andrew is an AMAZING architect!!! We are really glad we found him to make our home more beautiful.

Andrew is truly a professional. He was detail oriented and incorporated our input and came up with a gem! The way he envisioned the rooflines and different elevations to tie together is masterful. This is the second time that I've used CA2homes. Both times, my experience was smooth and flawless. My first project was an expansion of my 2 bedroom 1 bath house to a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house in 2019. The second project was designing an ADU above my detached garage in 2022. Andrew was brilliant with his ideas and spatial understanding. He took my proposed design and improved them significantly. The proportions were nicely balanced to the existing structure. The layout of the ADU preserved privacy to the main house, optimized natural lighting, and was aesthetically pleasing. The permitting process, despite all of the hurdles working with the City of San Jose, was seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free for me. I would definitely work with him again for future projects, and highly recommend working with Andrew and CA2homes.

Andrew and his wife, MyBinh, are a true professionals. Back in May of 2020, my wife and I wanted to add an ADU to my rental property in San Jose. My realtor referred Andrew to me as an architect. I reached out to Andrew and he went to my rental property to take measurements for the ADU. Andrew provided me with a few options, but ultimately we ended up completing an ADU that was 2br/2bth and 640 sq ft. Andrew made this process so easy as though it was a "one-stop-shop." He drew up the architectural plan and, with my approval, Andrew made contact with all the engineers, city permitting process, etc. With my busy work schedule, having to deal with only one person made this process very manageable. I've spoken with some of my friends who are currently remodeling of their homes and it has been an absolute nightmare to deal with the city permitting process. Since its completion, I have shown my ADU to many of my friends and others who were interested. All of them have complimented me on how the ADU has such a great layout and how it flowed well. I must say that I did absolutely nothing besides providing Andrew with the space with which he can do his magic. I highly recommend Andrew as an architect.

Andrew has done an awesome job architecting our new home for us. He first sat with us and patiently took down our requirements, and then came up with an amazing floorplan which optimally uses the space, and at the same time providing good privacy to bedrooms, family room and kitchen. This whole process went through very smoothly mainly because of his patience and understanding when we wanted some minor adjustments to the floorplan. Andrew also worked with us on the permit process, dealing with the San Jose city directly, and directing the structural engineering firm, contractor, owner and other parties to provide all the information for the permit process. He was on this until the permits were issued by the city. I highly recommend Andrew for any new home project or home remodeling. Thanks a lot Andrew!!

hWe bought an older house in Campbell and used CA2Homes as the architects for a major remodel in 2017. The house was craftsman style with siding, narrow hallways and somewhat dark. I asked Andrew to change the exterior to hacienda style, and expand the home…but after getting the first bids in, had to scale down the plans. In the end, we moved a lot of walls to create a great room with kitchen and redid all of bedrooms and bathrooms. Throughout, I was very impressed by his patience though multiple iterations and responsiveness, even at nights and weekends. This combination of service, talent and value is very hard to find these days! Thank you Andrew, for all your help and the excellent job you did on our house!

Andrew and his team were wonderful from the moment we had our first meeting and all throughout the permit process. They understood our needs and drew up plans for our master bedroom/bath addition. They were great and we highly recommend their services.

I hired Andrew Nguyen to design and build our detached granny unit. Andrew did the architect drawing and handle all of city’s permit processes. Andrew also helped us with building our detached granny and passed every city inspection within one attempt. Great work, highly recommend.

We hired Andrew Nguyen from CA2 Homes to come up with a design for our home. He has great ideas, pays attention to detail, and has come up with a layout that we love. He has been very diligent and patient and has made the entire process from start to finish (getting the permit) a very enjoyable and stress free journey. We are in the process of adding 900 sq. ft and remodeling the existing 1400 ft. We highly recommend him for any project.

Andrew is a very skillful and knowledgeable architect. My property had to go through a variance hearing and with his help I was able to successfully pass the city council's inquiries and inspections. In addition, his rates are very reasonable. I would definitely hire Andrew again for any future projects and would not hesitate to use his service again. I highly recommend him!
