Bramshel did an excellent job on our master bathroom, and the craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident throughout the process. In addition, they were hugely helpful during the design stage. The fact that they are a local company, combined with the design/construction capability (all in one company) drove our decision to hire them. I recommend Bramshel, and we're likely to use them again.

Bramshel created the mudroom and beer shed of our dreams!! Their attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and cohesive design ideas are apparent in every nook and cranny of our project. After many years of dreaming of a new kitchen, we began speaking with kitchen designers, contractors and builders and carefully selected Bramshel for our renovation. Our Houzz ideabooks were brimming with photos and with Bram and Sheldon’s practical guidance we were able to see our visions come to life in a way that made sense for our living space. We knew we didn’t want to expand our footprint and wanted retain our home’s warmth while opening it up to accommodate more friends and family. We ended up with a transformed first floor that is both beautiful to look at and accomplishes all of our goals. Throughout the inevitable ups and downs of any project, Bram and Sheldon kept working, creating and making us laugh. It’s not easy to have a houseful of workers in one’s home all day, every day but they made it a pleasure. Bramshel and their subs were courteous and conscientious with an attention to detail that is beyond compare. Despite the plaster dust from a wall removal or an entire level of hardwood floors being refinished, we always came home to an impeccably clean house. We were confident from day one that Bramshel would provide the highest quality work and craftsmanship. We’re certain they thought we were crazy when we wanted to sacrifice drawer storage for a pet feeding station and have a door cut into a wall for our cats but they made it happen. These elements, each of which could have been an eyesore, are now a feature! We would highly recommend Bramshel for your home renovations. They have the practical knowledge of a contractor, the creative eye of an artist and the sense of humor of a good friend. We look forward to working with them in the future!

Bram took on a difficult exterior porch renovation project that required considerable ingenuity and design creativity. He came up with an amazing solution to stabilize the porch surface, and the finished product is stunning. He is an extremely collaborative design-build specialist, and completed the work on time and within the budget we discussed. They cleaned up so well that we barely knew they had been there at the end of the job. We are now working with him again on some interior projects in the older part of our house - these will also require some innovation, and we have every confidence that Bram will do these with great skill. He's awesome!

We hired Bramshel, new construction, for a front entry way, mud room and bathroom. The craftsmanship of Bramshels designs speaks for themselves. They produced the highest quality of work with an amazing attention to detail in our projects. 2017: We have hired Bramshel for multiple remodel projects ( full bathroom remodel ) and custom exterior and interior woodworking. Not only do they have amazing attention to detail and beautiful finishing work, but there have been many times where they suggested designs and solutions that we wouldn't have contemplated on our own which really elevated the final look. If you are a perfectionist and have exceedingly high standards, then you have met your match with this team! 2018 Update: Another remodel by Bramshel to make a suite for our daughter ( bedroom and bathroom ). We were so grateful they could squeeze us in and worked like mad to get the job completed just days before Christmas. Bram and Sheldon ( and their crew of experts ) built some gorgeous custom built-in shelves and drawers that really made the bedroom pop. Also, our house has a number of walls that are crooked and Bram always lines things up perfectly to hide the multitude of sins. They also take time to layout the entire tile pattern for every surface to ensure it lines up perfectly before putting it up... the result is just flawless. As we often make choices on the fly rather than choosing everything in advance, we also appreciate how flexible they are. Highly recommend ( again )!

Bram and Sheldon have completed several projects for us, including an outdoor deck and built-in bookshelves for our master bedroom, and they have done an excellent job with everything. They are courteous, prompt and skilled individuals who are a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them to anyone.

We worked with Bramshel for 12 months -- extensive internal reconfiguration and dressing-up of house. If you need a five-star Wellesley-style designer/builder who will produce superior top-quality work and are willing to pay top-dollar, Bramshel is a great option. This is a small one-man General Contractor who subs-out and oversees much of the work (and also does much of the work himself).

Working with Bram and Sheldon on a kitchen/garden extension to my house was one of the highlights of my LIFE and I was 73!!! They LISTENED to my ideas then enhanced them. Their creativity and ingenuity NEVER ceased -- not to mention their good humor and HARD WORK. I WAS IMPRESSED EVERY DAY WITH THEIR DEDICATION TO MAKING IT RIGHT. As a result, I have the house of my dreams, inside and out. Where before it was closed off from the back 'garden,' there is a light sunny room that opens up to my garden. It has transformed the entire feel of the house. Without charging me, they also gave me advice on making the garden work in a difficult space. Mine is an old 1910 house so there were some surprises which increased the price. They warned me this could happen when we started. The main thing about Bram and Sheldon is that I rightfully trusted them to charge me as they worked. It turned out to be more expensive because of the hidden problems of an old house but I believe it was fair for all. The contractors they brought in were on time and contributed to the friendly feel of the project. How many people can say a reconstruction of their house was FUN? I can. REALLY, if I could give 10 stars, I would!
