Bowen Remodeling and Design

We were SO disappointed to see what has come of this company. Used them years ago to finish our bathroom and Joe Bowen himself was extremely talented. Since then they have apparently grown too much too fast. Joe Bowen is no longer the “hands on” guy. His daughter is the “designer”...but not really. She won’t share an actual design. They are overpriced and non-responsive, and strung us along until we were unable to get our project done (with or without them) in the time we had. Look elsewhere.

I can not say enough good things about Bowen Remodeling & Design. From start to finish every aspect of the job was seamless. From picking out the product to demo day, to completion day... no issues! The crew arrived each day on time with positive attitudes. They took extra measures to protect my carpets and cleaned up each day, you would never know a bathroom remodel was taking place! Truly a professional company. I would highly recommend Bowen Remodeling & Design to anyone looking to complete any upgrades!

They worked on our beach house interior, installing sheet rock, electrical, plumbing, lighting and painting. They did the bathroom and the kitchenette. They did a pretty good job in general. It was not that easy to get to the beach house which is at the foot of a hill and had to use the tram to transport all the materials. We are happy with the trades. We passed all the necessary inspections. For a waterfront job, that is almost incredible. If there's one thing we are not completely happy about, it's with the designer/project manager. In fairness, she was good at helping me pick the materials and the color schemes, although, there were one or two design flaws that were more about function rather than aesthetic. We communicated with her mainly by email and sometimes information did not go through, or it took longer than we wanted for a resolution. She was going to give us a quote on fixing the porch three Fridays ago. We have not heard from her so we are hiring another person to do that job.

We hired Bowen Remodeling to completely renovate our master bathroom and paint the master bath and bedroom. We took space from our daughter's closet to enlarge the shower. We were very pleased with the outcome. Our designer, Samantha Bowen, took my ideas and made them a reality. Bowen provided everything that I asked for, and had many solutions to design challenges. While Bowen has the capability to renovate in any style and for any budget, we were impressed with their common sense approach to maximizing satisfaction within a mid-range budget. They were very knowledgeable about all products and were able to inform our design decisions and point us in the right direction. They also educated us about maintenance. We absolutely love our new bathroom, and enjoy the new space every day!

We hired Bowen Remodeling to redo our small master bathroom. Their designers were extremely helpful putting something together that matched my style and taste. The showroom was set up very nicely to help with every decision that needed to be made. The foreman that did our job was very knowledgeable and was very helpful to answer all my questions. The job took as long as they said it would and cleaned up the house everyday when they left. I would highly recommend this company.

We recently purchased our home and knew a kitchen remodel was immediately required. I interviewed several companies and decided to go with Bowen Remodel and Design. They were a one stop shop. Several of the contractors worked with a cabinet and design company, which left me feeling limited in brand choices. Samantha Bowen listened to what I wanted in a new kitchen and understood my budget. Never having gone through a remodel before, I was worried about the process and how long I would be out of the kitchen. The moment Chuck arrived I knew we were in great hands. He and the whole team exceed my expectations in both quality workmanship and customer service. At the end of each day, the house was cleaned up and kid/dog proofed for the night and weekend. In the event something wasn't looking quite right, it was addressed immediately and they made sure we were happy with the solution. At the end of the day, my kitchen is fabulous and I love it! I would hire Bowen again without hesitation!
