Two young Designers who love to balance color, material, elements to craft memorable spaces that feel organic and tell a story that is exclusive to you. Bottlegreen studio believes in experimenting with old and new to create sensible designs that complement our creative process. We love to incorporate natural, recyclable materials where we can. As trained architects, we combine our multidisciplinary experience encompassing architecture, interior design, product design and ceramics to curate each space or object with careful thought and consideration. In doing so, Bottlegreen Studio is both experimental and classic, environmentally conscious and trendy. Bottlegreen studio was founded in 2017 by Ranjini Prabhu. With a formal education in Architecture and over six years of working in the field of Architecture and Interior design, Ranjini finds herself naturally drawn to elements that are organic, earthy and handmade. Along with her practice, she has dabbled in studying the technique of Earth and Bamboo construction through a short certification programme from the Auroville Earth institute and Bamboo Centre. Ranjini has also trained in wheel thrown pottery and ceramics from Golden Bridge Pottery, Pondicherry. She strongly believes that design goes beyond form and function and into creating comfort, character and emotion. Pratiksha Prabhakar has received her Master’s degree in Design from the University of Cincinnati, USA. She is a hybrid designer with expertise in product design, architecture, and design strategy. She loves indulging in creative problem solving through design thinking. Design for her is all about understanding human behavior and interactions to create meaningful design aesthetics and rich user experiences. Pratiksha has completed a course in cabinetry making and knows her way around basic woodworking tools. Bottlegreen Studio's projects range from residences to offices and retail spaces.
