Had 3 teams come in to look at my tankless water heater & air handler systems this week. James D with Boston Standard was the most familiar & most ready with realistic next steps. Glad I made the appointment!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! My story -- I scheduled an appointment and was informed the technician would arrive between 12-5pm and it was impossible to provide a more specific timeframe. I called in twice and told the service team I had an hour drive to get to the property and needed a more specific timeframe. 4pm arrives AND STILL no technician calling me or informing me the appointment would need to be rescheduled. I called in again to the service team - they were both rude and unappreciative of their scheduling mistakes. They would not offer any discounts, reimbursements or even acknowledge that I was ignored as a paying customer. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I will never use the company again or recommend their services.

When my 40 year old Williamson furnace was struggling to start up during a severe cold snap last winter I called Boston Standard. Within the hour, problem solved. I was immediately impressed by their responsiveness, knowledge and professionalism. They recommended a Trane XC95, new duct work and a vented hot water heater. My priorities were reliability, energy efficiency and extremely quiet equipment. All of my expectations were met. The installation was flawless and customer service excellent. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately. I am extremely satisfied with products they installed and the resulting comfort and quality of home heating I now experience.

We have recommended Boston Standard Plumbing to several of our customers over the past year. In each case, the customers found them to be professional and responsive with communication - returning phone calls as expected. The jobs were completed in a truly professional manner. In one case they came out immediately to handle a gas leak and then fix it, which turned out to be extremely complex. It is wonderful to have a company with high standards in communication and job performance that we can recommend to our customers!
