My partner and I worked with Keren at Born Luxe Interior Design on the renovation of our condo; specifically the kitchen and living area. Upon our initial consult, we immediately knew that we wanted to work with Keren. She was patient, listened to our needs, and asked the right questions. She took the time to understand our personalities and lifestyle and used our unique taste to create several design options from which we could choose our dream renovation. Keren organized our project from start to finish. She put together a budget, she coordinated with all the vendors, she set up meetings with contractors so that we could choose the right team for our job. She created the electrical plan, floor plan, and renderings of the full renovation. She selected all of our furnishings and if we didn't like something that was chosen, she went back and came up with alternate pieces. Our project began in the midst of the COVID pandemic and several elements were delayed due to various logistics issues. Keren remained on top of everything. She checked in on us regularly and followed up with suppliers to ensure they were doing everything they could to prioritize our project. Keren went above and beyond to make certain that our contractor followed the instructions and completed our project flawlessly. I hired Upstage Interior Design when I moved into my new condo in downtown Manhattan back in September 2017. I had looked through the amazing photos on their website initially and realized that the designers there could really make my vision come to life. My place is quite modern, but I wasn’t sure I wanted an ultra modern design look – I kind of wanted something that would blend the modern with my eclectic and colorful style. I got exactly that and more! Keren, the designer, took everything I mentioned into account when coming up with amazing options for my place – she infused color and texture, and amazing furniture to create a vibrant, warm and functional place. I feel soooo lucky to have found Upstage, because I honestly feel like I live in the most amazing apartment that suits me perfectly. Everyone who walks in marvels at it, and whenever I walk in, I still can’t get over how awesome it looks! Keren even helped me find an artist to commission a painting to go in my den! I found Keren online as I searched frantically to find an interior designer for our condo. We live abroad for the time being and have kept our newly constructed condo empty but were now ready to outfit it with the bare essentials in order to rent it out. As I was pressed for time and had to leave Montreal, the prospect of attempting this project by myself was daunting to say the least. I needed someone to take charge and be independent, while keeping me informed and involved. Keren came through with flying colors. She took on my project of installing lighting, window treatments and bathroom accessories, and in an instant, she removed a huge weight off my shoulders. Keren and I met once to discuss style and budget. She then proceeded to send me her proposal of several combinations and suggestions. I made my selections and never had to worry after that. Keren was professional and courteous. She was extremely accommodating as she needed to coordinate and schedule her team around some minor construction work being done in our bathroom. Keren delivered great results within a tight timeframe, all the while keeping me abreast of her progress through emails, and through pictures as each stage of the project was completed. I felt involved but never burdened, a feat not too simple to achieve considering that several components needed to be synchronized, and that I was in a different time zone. The only disappointing aspect of this process was handing over the condo to our new tenant. My husband and I would have much preferred to enjoy the stylish look Keren achieved ourselves. I would gladly recommend and hire Upstage Interior Design for future projects.

The task of decorating a living room is an overwhelming experience -- especially when you’re starting with a completely blank slate! We didn’t know where to begin. Thankfully, we contacted Upstage Interior Design, and Keren worked her magic. The first thing we learned is that it’s not simply a matter of choosing colors, fabrics and furniture, it really is about understanding the perspective of the room and how each item becomes a puzzle piece: with our amazing living room as the final creation! After meeting with us and getting an idea of mine and my husband’s needs and aesthetic, Keren went to work and presented us with a maquette at a follow-up meeting, outlining each element that she meticulously chose. They are items we never would have thought of ourselves -- each one is unique and complements the other. She also helped us locate and find each piece, and followed up with us along the way to make sure it all came together to our satisfaction. Suffice it to say, visitors are blown away by how amazing, elevated and premium our living room looks! We will certainly use Upstage Interior Design for upcoming projects and highly recommend Upstage Interior Design.

Our company hired Keren to decorate and furnish a condo for an executive who relocated to Montreal. It was a blank canvas with white walls and we needed everything including paint, furniture, dishes, sheets, towels, garbage cans and cleaning supplies - everything! Keren worked with the executive to determine his taste and colour preferences and came up with plans and suggestions that were perfect. She then took charge and did a fantastic job decorating and accommodated very specific requests and last minute additions, all before the executive arrived in Montreal. She finished before the deadline and under the $50,000 budget and we are very pleased. There were minimal additions that we needed to take care of once the project was complete. She did a great job and we would certainly recommend her and hire her again.

When I moved into my home almost two years ago, I was pregnant and overwhelmed. The house was newly renovated, but it still didn't feel like my home. My husband and I decided that fresh paint will do just the trick. We went to the paint store and left even more confused than when we entered, so many colours, so many shades. I emailed her pictures of the house and she sent me different colour palettes to choose from. In addition, she talked about each colour and explained her choices to me. When I gave, e my friends the grand tour of my new home and they admire the colours on my walls, I tell them that Keren was able to come up with the colours from just pictures. About a year ago, I was moved to a new office in connection with a promotion, and was given a redesign budget for the space. My goal was to create a warm environment that wouldn't have the typical stale office feel. I wanted an office that would reflect my fun and creative self (my love of color and photography), but all the while convey a professionalism and modernity to balance out the workplace factor.
