Just a customer. Great installers and they honor their installation warranty. They installed laminate in my previous home. When I had some separation after several years, they corrected the problem. I asked how much? The answer, no charge on our installations. I wasn’t aware of their warranty. This past week, I signed a contract to have Karastan Vinyl Planks installed in our small retirement condo. Adam, our salesman was very pleasant to deal with. Just yesterday, we added some Karastan area rugs, selected off the Kiosk. We were helped by a “floater,” her term. She was very helpful and after I made my selection, she called over a salesman. Absolutely no sales pressure at this small local store. Just helpful people. As a previous commenter stated, it’s all about the installers. In 2017, we made the mistake of having a big box store install planks in our kitchen. A simple job. One of the installers installed the planks over an active drain, in an inconspicuous location. We didn’t notice the water trickling under the baseboards for 3 months. That caused thousands in damage, including having our walls, their insides covered in black mold, ripped out.
