RCJ Building Inc.

We started our building project interviewing and getting quotes from several builders/contractors. After meeting with RCJ /Bobby several times we became convinced he was the builder for us. His attention to detail, his ability to understand our concerns and ideas were extremely important for us. Bobby did not disappoint us. He is a hands-on contractor and met and, in most cases, exceeded our expectations. Not long after we began, we were hit with the Covid crisis, yet the job never stopped, and everyone showed up every day. The project stayed on schedule and on budget despite the problems we all faced daily. Bobby was truly a partner in our project, and this was never truer when halfway through the project my spouse of 25 years passed away suddenly. I was not sure how I would be able to continue with everything let alone a project of this size. I was overwhelmed to say the least and even thought about just selling the unfinished project. Bobby met with me several times and we were able to continue the building and for eight months we were worked together and finally completed it. It would never have been this way had Bobby not been the hands-on contractor he is. The house turned out exactly as it was planned and although so much of it saddened me it was a legacy to my late spouse and to Bobby’s ability to handle not only a project of this scope but he did it in the midst of crisis after crisis without losing a step.

I am a Structural Engineer and have worked with Bobby on several projects. He is very attentive to my plans/details and constructs them as I intended. However, he will offer suggestions to alternatives when he sees a cost savings. He produces high quality homes. His knowledge of construction and friendly nature make him very easy to work with.

Bobby did a great job on our dream home. We've been in here 6 years and are still loving it. Building a house for 2 architects isn't easy !
