Beautiful Kitchens and Bath

Karen's customer service is outstanding! She helped me find a replacement kitchen cabinet face when I had almost given up hope of finding an exact replacement. Later, when I tried to pay for the part she determined my cabinet was still under warranty and told me the part was covered. Even though I did not have a big project or spend lots of money with BK&B, they still took care of me. That level of service is so hard to find today but when the time for a kitchen or bath remodel comes, I will be coming to Karen and Beautiful Kitchens and Bath.

Very helpful with our planning and particular needs. Efficient and professional installation. Project was done in a very timely fashion and the people we worked with, all were very polite, friendly and professional. We wanted to work with a local business is possible and they did not disappoint us at all.

Carl and his staff did an amazing job on our kitchen! Very friendly, knowledgeable and great customer service! Hard working and efficient, our kitchen was done quickly with beautiful craftsmanship. My husband and I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to everyone!

Range Hood installed with exhaust vented to exterior of house. Carl and his team were very prompt and professional in every aspect of installation. When we bought a house we chose Beautiful Kitchens to do the work and couldn't be more happy! We had our Kitchen completely remodeled; new cabinets, granite, new sink w/ faucet, added a backsplash, added an island, and our tile floor of the kitchen done as well. We also added a bathroom a few months later and they did the design and instal work for that too. Their customer service was excellent! We had a very fair, competitive price when commenting pared to other local companies too. It was the customer support that won us over. They really listened to what I wanted, they even offered me some of the best choices I didn't even know existed! They took their time explaining everything to me as this was my first home, not to mention first kitchen remodel, I have ever done so I was very grateful for all their time and patience with me. The designs we were provided were just perfect for us. Their installers were very clean and efficient too. I liked that they cleaned up after themselves too. The work provided was beyond exceptional. My kitchen is perfect, our favorite spot of the house. We are complimented on it by everyone who comes through our home and we always recommend this business to them for any kitchen and bathroom job. We are finally ready to redo our bathrooms this spring/summer and will DEFINITELY be using Beautiful Kitchens again! We will review them again at that time too.

Beautiful Kitchens remodeled my kitchen 4 years ago and I couldn't be happier! Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. The showroom has so many different styled displays which really helped me figure out what was best for my home. Almost a year after my kitchen was finished, we had flooding issues in our kitchen and BKB was there to fix everything asap. They made it look as if nothing ever happened! I went back to BKB to have my master bathroom remodeled about 3 years later. I LOVE my bathroom!!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

We hired Beautiful Kitchens to remodel our kitchen. If you want a partially-finished project, Beautiful Kitchens is the company for you. Our project was 90% complete in June 2016, as of December 2016, there are still very large holes in my ceiling (see pictures). Last week, I was informed Beautiful Kitchens will not fix these holes. Only a couple of weeks ago, Beautiful Kitchens returned to finally complete the touch-up paint on the cabinets. To be fair, Beautiful Kitchens has offered me a less than $150 reduction on my $36,500 total bill (not including electrical work/fixtures/appliances/etc....you have to pay for that yourself) for the inconvenience/delays. The sales staff was very good to work with and extremely helpful in ensuring our design was crafted to our desires. In addition, all the workers were very professional, friendly and pleasant to work with. However, follow-through is not their strong suit. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We hired Beautiful Kitchens to correct the botched job another company had performed while remodeling our bath. They were everything the other company was not - courteous, respectful of our property, skilled in carpentry and tiling, and able to tweak faulty design work. They used better quality materials. They used electrical and plumbing contractors licensed in Charles Co who worked with the Dept of Planning to correct the previous company's code violations. We were so pleased to have all the poor workmanship of the first company removed and replaced so successfully. They produced a beautiful bathroom for us. Beautiful Kitchens was so responsive to all our concerns and was a joy to work with, especially after the negative experience that preceded them.

We paid $150 for an estimate. The estimate we received was just a phone call with a dollar amount. There was nothing provided in writing. I complained after discussing this with my wife and asked for my money back. This was denied. The receptionist smiled when I told her I was using a competitor and said, "Good luck!" This does not seem very professional and affirms my decision not to hire them. By the way, we did have a site visit by a very courteous and knowledgable man, but there was no written estimate at all. Other companies provided detailed written estimates, and they were FREE. We feel cheated.

We visited a few design houses and decided on Beautiful Kitchens due to their professionalism, their no-pressure approach, and their ability to answer every question we had as we were going through our first remodel. Working with Karen and Carl Taylor was a true pleasure every step of the way. Karen was extremely professional and reasonable in her estimate for our new addition. We had some basic idea of what we wanted, and gave them to her and she came up with a perfect design. She made it seem so easy, but there were many flaws in our original kitchen that she brilliantly resolved. She helped us with every decision in just a few hours, and was always available to answer any questions or make any changes. She has an amazing supply of cabinets, flooring, tiles, and fun options right there in their showrooms so that you can easily imagine what everything will look like. I love the fact that all of the Beautiful Kitchen’s construction team works just for them, so there are no sub-contractors that had “other” jobs, and there were no delays. Carl is in charge of all site work and his team worked very fast, and they were clean, friendly, professional, efficient, and did absolutely gorgeous work. They are true artists! He followed up during each phase of the construction to be sure that the job is done exactly as we expected and to our satisfaction. Our new kitchen is exactly what we wanted, and even more beautiful than we ever imagined, and we love it. Beautiful Kitchens took a tiny kitchen and designed a new space with optimal workroom that looks amazing. I will most definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone!

Beautiful Kitchens was hired to design and install a bar in our basement. We met with Carl Taylor to discuss our needs in the fall of 2011. After listening to our needs and taking measurements, he offered several suggestions to chose from. Finally in the winter/spring of 2012 we decided to move forward with the project and worked with Carl and his staff to finalize the project. We worked closely with him in choosing cabintry and hardware that fit in our budget. Once the cabinets were ordered, it approximately 3 weeks for them to be delivered. Once they were delivered, his installers took a day to install the cabinets. They were professional and performed top quality work. After the cabinet install, we had our granite countertop installed. Carl was there every step of the way, adding finishing touches and working with a glass company to complete our "bar look". We have no complaints and would recommend Beautiful Kitchens to friends and family. Carl took care of the entire project from start to finish and even offered additional help with hooking up some of our appliances. His staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
