The team at William Lee Architect is exceptional. Bill, Lauren and Allison are careful listeners and pay close attention to the clients needs and wishes. They are always receptive to making alterations as the project evolves. Their designs are unique and elegant, I can't say enough about the level of creativity that goes into their work. I always look forward to building a home that they have designed. As a custom builder, the team is always there for me when I have questions and help me through difficult structural details. They stick with me from the initial conceptual drawings to the final stage of the project. My clients always praise their experience with them. I highly recommend Bill, Lauren and Allison to anyone looking to facilitate their dreams of building a new home, addition or renovation.

Bill Lee and his team totally transformed and expanded an existing shingle style house we purchased into a more classic coastal home well suited for our lifestyle. Upon visiting the site, Bill understood the opportunity to take advantage of the amazing location by adding outdoor living spaces and bringing the extraordinary ocean views indoors with innovative floor plans and by incorporating transom windows throughout the house. Bill and his team identified and leveraged some of the finer details of the original structure but with their inspirational designs, use of clean lines, thoughtful planning and collaborative approach they significantly enhanced the look and usefulness of the entire property. They shaped the design to capture the character of the area and created a house that looks like it could have existed in an earlier time, while giving us a comfortable, warm and welcoming home that we love. Bill and his team are professional, attentive, creative, diligent, imaginative, responsive, collaborative, enthusiastic, fair, trustworthy, and delightful to work with. We spent three months +- working with Bill, lauren and Allison on the design of our new waterfront home in Scituate. They took the time to listen and understand the type of home we wanted. We also wanted them to use their creative skills in its design. This collaborative approach made this a pleasant fun experience and ended in a design that exceeded our expectations! Their end product included DETAILED DRAWINGS AND SPECS which proved invaluable in the building process. We required that all bids had to meet the specs with no exceptions, unless approved by us in writing. Occasional walkthroughs by Bill and his team also helped us correct a few building errors that could have been hard to correct afterwards. Designing a home can be a stressful time for many people. For us it was a fun pleasant experience. You cannot go wrong working with Bill and his great team!1

Bill and his team designed a lake house for us in 2019. They listened closely to what was important to us and provided multiple design options. Once we landed on a base design they kept working with to refine and and improve the plan based on our input. Throughout construction Bill was always available for consultations and direct communication with our builder. Their work is exceptional. The results stunning. The carpenters working on our project have independently told me how much they like Bill's design. We could not be happier. It's worth noting that Bill is a very nice person, and it has been a pleasure to work with him and his team on this project.

Architect Bill Lee provided me with an inspired design for my new home that was unique, functional and beautiful to look at. The challenges involved were many. It had to be built upon an existing underground home's complicated foundation footprint, as it existed, due to strict coastal bank restrictions. I wanted a building that was different than anything else yet one that did not look out of place. Bill and his great staff of architects were as enthusiastic as I was throughout the entire process and I couldn't be happier with the result.

From my first meeting with Bill Lee I was convinced he was the man for the job. From the very beginning--and I mean looking at the potential land--he worked in concert with me and my builder to advise and create what became an amazing home. You can expect one-on-one intimate meetings where Bill and his competent staff will guide you through the complex world of home design. Bill listens very well, and responds right on target. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and delightful to work with. I say the same for his wonderful staff. In addition, they were there for the actual construction, making several site visits to ensure that all was going according to plan. Thanks to this firm, I have a fantastic home that takes advantage of the best aspects of the land and view, and provides an interior perfectly suited to my needs.

We really enjoyed working with Bill Lee and his team and watching how they brought our ideas to life through the design of our new home. Lee & Associates never missed a design milestone and we were always excited to see how our design evolved from meeting to meeting. Our new home is beautiful to look at, as functional as it is fun and so comfortable. Bill Lee took advantage of the sweeping views of Plymouth Bay and situated every key room so that each had a stunning landscape to see. Our home is light and perfect for entertaining any time of year. We feel we made the best choice in picking William Lee Architect & Associates.....we would make the same choice if we had to do it all over again!
