I understand reviews are subjective based on experience. With that said, when you pay retail personnel 100% commission for "design" services, and it's the end of the month...... Let's just say, you might not get the best experience. Fast forward, when raising your concerns to corporate, which then trickle back down to the retail level you get an instance where feelings are hurt, and the service becomes non-existent, to zero fairly quickly. Advice-If moving to the Charleston area (1st or 2nd + home) there's plenty of other options other than Ethan Allen. Do yourself a favor and explore them.

We began working with Bill when we walked into Ethan Allen looking at beds for our new home under construction. Bill created the entire bedroom mood based on a picture I wanted to hang in the room! We had an approximate move in date and Bill delivered everything on time.

Bill was true professional . He showed us many different options to choose from. Bill came to our house to get a better feel of our taste in our house. We meet Bill at the showroom, where he came up with some wonderful new ideas. We pick one and all we had to was wait until it was built. We are very happy with our Ethan Allen experience.

We commend Bill Goudelock for the excellent interior design services that he has provided to us over the past year. We purchased a new home a year ago and have been in the process of relocating from another State. Bill has been supporting us since when we first started to consider interior design concepts and make our initial purchases of furniture and accessories through him. Since that point, he has assisted us in furnishing and decorating literally the entire home including window treatments and shades. Bill has an incredible attention to detail and ability to conceive and coordinate styles, colors, and fabrics. His design concepts and selections exceeded our expectations. He also was extremely helpful in planning the purchases and installations with us often being out of town. Our home is absolutely stunning thanks to Bill.

I walked into Ethan Allen to look at sofas. The following week I made a follow-up appointment with Bill and bought furniture, area rugs, artwork, drapes and fabulous curtain rods for the living room, dining room and foyer. Bill pulled things together and made selections I wouldn't have thought of, based on his assessment of what we might like. The furniture is comfortable and beautiful. He gave me advice on paint color as well, suggesting accent walls with colors that make the whole room look pulled together. Bill's taste is exquisite and he was so much fun to work with. It all turned out just as I hoped it would. I highly recommend Bill and the Ethan Allen store in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Truly a professional...the ultimate creative decorator! As soon as we hired Bill to stage our homes in Indigo Park on Kiawah Island, SC we had two home sales. We relied on Bill Goudelock’s expertise as we completed the interior design in our condo and as we merged those furnishings into a house. We feel completely comfortable with Bill’s advice and have been very happy with the results of his designs. One of the most exciting challenges we presented to Bill was to change the total look of a breakfast area. Bill designed the entire look to include dining table, chairs with fabric, draperies, shades and hardware. This has turned out to be a showpiece in our home and receives rave comments from our visitors. Another look that he changed for us entirely was in our foyer, he selected a showpiece sideboard and stunning lamp for this area and incorporated it into the adjoining living room. As we have made substantial investment in our home furnishings, it has been most reassuring we are receiving superior advice and service. Bill has provided that the entire time we have worked with him. We have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

Bill has done a wonderful plan for us. His ability to understand our interests and lifestyle has given our house a touch that reflects our personality. The warmth and comfort we wanted shows in every detail. We couldn't be happier with the results.
