Bigfoot Door

If you are doing a small job, Bigfoot will take their time, ignore you, and never follow up with you when they say they will. I purchased a house that already had a Bigfoot door installed. I wanted to get a matching screen door installed onto it. They quote process was quick and smooth, and they said upfront that to keep costs down, they would order the materials for my screen when a bigger project with similar needs came along. It would take 10-12 weeks after site measurement. We put the order in and paid a 50% deposit at the end of February 2017. They didn't come to do a site measurement until the end of May. This is after numerous emails and calls -- every time I contacted them, I was told that someone would get back to me at a certain time. I don't think I've been lied to more times by anyone else. It is now September 8 (way way past 10-12 weeks), and I'm told the screen door has been manufactured for about 2 weeks now, but I've been having issues scheduling an installation date. I'm getting the same runaround about how someone will call me to schedule something, and how it will get installed by the end of this week. However, I never get that call, and when I call to check in I am told I will hear back by the end of the day, and that call never comes. At this point I'm not sure if I will ever get my screen installed, and even if I do, I would not recommend Bigfoot Door. EDIT: As of January 2018, the door has finally been installed and considered completed. I had to have them come to fix the weatherstripping twice so that there were no gaps.
