I worked on this job with Darren and his crew. Bruce Young was the site manager and was very easy to deal with. Bercum is a well organized company with great communication skills. They were ready when for us to do our work when they said they would be. I currently am undergoing another project with this company and look forward to seeing the finished product.

I've worked with the team at Bercum Builders for 5-6 years on at least as many projects. As a contractor I always enjoy working with them. Things are always organized and ready when they say they are. The site is safe and clean and I know that the quality of work is always going to be top notch so that when I come in to do my part of the project it always goes smooth. Everyone from the front office to their carpenters and site Forman are some of the best in the business.

As a preferred supplier of natural stone products to Bercum Builders for many years, we have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with them. Darren is always easy to communicate with, open to ideas, and keeps focus on his clients being happy in the end. We selected Bercum Builders to build our custom home on the basis of their past work and reputation as one of the premier custom home builders in the Okanagan. Darren and the team were involved in the project right from the beginning and worked closely with our architect. During this initial phase, Bercum provided key insights, options and recommendations, and presented us with rough costing throughout the design phase in order to keep us on budget. Once construction began our site manager Bruce (from the Bercum team) was outstanding with communication and kept us updated with detailed weekly emails which included photos and specific progress updates. Building a custom home is no easy task. Our project was further complicated by the fact that we were overseas for the entire design and build process, and we only visited once for lock-up. We placed our complete trust in the Bercum team's integrity and high standards. We were extremely satisfied as Bercum Builders not only met but exceeded our expectations with the outcome and we would certainly recommend Bercum for any new build or major renovation

As a single woman undertaking a major renovation of a home I purchased, I cannot express the gratitude I feel for Bercum Builders. The contractor was always interacting with me and looking for the most cost efficient appliances,building materials etc. The trades that worked in my home were first class in professionalism, punctiality, and work quality. All the trades have worked together for many years--they work well together,respect each other and it showed in everything they did. I am now moving to Alberta to build a home and I know that I will not find any builder comparable to Bercums. If only I could hire Mr. Witt and his company back in Alberta.
