Bdj Landscaping

BDJ Landscape Services was established in February 2009 and is owned and operated by Bob Hawthorne. Bob has been in the landscape field since 1977. He spent more than three years apprenticed to Joe Coughlin of Coughlin Landscaping, premier landscape designers in Sioux City, Iowa. After moving to beautiful Southwest Virginia in 1983, Bob spent 15½ years working at the former Laurel Creek Nursery in Blacksburg. After a 10-year break working in the environmental field, Bob rekindled his love of landscaping and started BDJ Landscape Services. He is a hands-on owner operator who oversees all aspects of every job from design to completed installation. BDJ Landscape Services is a fully insured and licensed Virginia Class B contractor. We are certified installers of pavers through the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) and certified installer of Allan Block segmental block walls.
