BC11 did a gut renovation of 2 bathrooms and installatioin of an HVAC system with condensers on 2 terraces and blowers servicing 6 rooms, and fully painted our Upper West Side apartment. This was our third renovation. It was and continues as exemplary. Value is determined by many factors, among them cost for what is accomplished and how it is achieved. Barry brings experience, expertise, experience, management and communication skill, and his personal integrity. He was and continues to be available and was hands-on for us and our Architect as well as critically with our Superintendent and Managing Agent. He has earned his reputation with everyone including NYC agencies and was never delayed for any reason. His own core team of contractors is a family unit; father, sons, and daughter, who are expert in every aspect from installations and superb painting. He has the respect of every subcontractor and holds them to his standards which they know in advance. Our project is finished and he has already proven his wilingness to answer questions and deploy his team for anything necessary. Value indeed.

Excellent service and professionalism. Barry completed the job way ahead of schedule and was fair and reasonable with pricing. He has a large breadth of knowledge and expertise that he brings to his jobs which help to alleviate any and all concerns I had. I have had bad experiences with contractors (especially in Manhattan) in the past but Barry is one of the most genuine, reliable, honest, and knowledgeable guys I've ever worked with. Barry and his team were excellent. This was our first home renovation and our experience with BC11 Construction was outstanding. Our building is a downtown Manhattan co-op with lots of rules and requirements, and Barry's team handled everything perfectly. BC-11 performed renovation work in my apartment in Manhattan. They were very careful to follow the building rules and regulations, stuck to the schedule and budget and every aspect of their work was of highest quality. In addition, they are very responsive - communication during the project was effortless. They helped in solving the unavoidable minor issues that arise on every job and coordinated their work well with the building management. Highly recommended!

I'm an absentee condo owner who lives overseas. I was looking for an ethical and responsible contractor who I could trust to do a good job on my UWS large studio apartment, knowing that I wouldn't be able to see the finished work personally. Barry Hefetz did not disappoint! He helped me make decisions along the way, stayed in touch with me as the project progressed, and delivered a flawless result, according to my friend and real estate rental agent, (both of whom saw the apartment before and after and were very impressed). He was professional, accessible, conscientious, easy to work with, and fair-minded. Barry let me know from the outset that I could probably find less expensive contractors in New York, but I wouldn't find one who would pay such great attention to detail. He was right; money well spent. Special "shout out" to foreman Darwin who held down the fort and did excellent work. Highly recommended.

Barry Hefetz is the best contractor I've ever hired. He helped us envision a more ambitious combining of 2 apartments than we had originally intended, and it turned out great. It was even timely, and Barry was patient with an unexpected delay that was introduced by an error that was not on his end. Barry's workers were talented and polite, and our building was happy with the way he kept the project in line with its rules. His recommendations all turned out well, and we are extremely pleased with the outcome.

Barry and his team did an excellent job and my apartment is an absolute DREAM! It was a full gut and reno of a 1 bed, 1 bath, kitchen, floors, etc. Barry was great at communicating, coming up with solutions, and attending to every detail (I’m quite picky!) I also wasn’t able to come see my apartment during much of the reno (due to Covid and being out of town) but he kept me up to date with pictures throughout and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Definitely would highly recommend Barry and his team and I think the photos speak for themselves!!!!
