Barbee at Details Design was able to accommodate both myself and my husbands colors and style to give us exactly what we wanted with designer flare. Her color choices were inspired and she has a vision that met with our budget and asprtions.

Details Design has been consistently excellent in all ways. Barbee is attentive, detail oriented and expects the best from her employees and contractors. She is a "can do" person. Barbee is well connected in the community and has years of experience. She meets deadlines well within reason. I am completely satisfied with the kitchen remodel and we are now in the middle of a powder room and fireplace install. I feel she helped us make our home feel more of an expression of who we are.

She and her staff are always very friendly, outgoing and really give you the time necessary to make everything just right! Instead of being uncertain and stressed out about bringing this house back after years as a rental property, one consulting appointment with Barbee James and I am calm and moving forward with purpose. I find it fascinating that she not only sees the big picture so readily but also sees the canvas in inches, solving problems I've pondered for months! Even though I'm working with a small budget, the inexpensive initial recommendations have ensured my comfort in this home while I prepare to take on the bigger projects. I look forward to a long-term relationship with Barbee and her team and am so grateful that she's willing to share her talents, reflect my personality in the design and stay with me from start to finish.

Details performed beyond my expectations! In our remodel Ms. James considered our family life style to the fine points of 'am I right or left handed?' so that we can make sure the electrical outlet for your toothbrush is on the proper side of the sink. The re purposing of furniture was used widely rather than buying all new things. The new things that we did purchase were high quality to last the long run and at great prices! We are thrilled with our new remodel!

Barbee James of Details Design Studio is a top notch designer and space planner. Our project consisted of a home renovation in Boulder foothills which took place while we were still living In another state. Barbee oversaw the renovation work, redesigned our kitchen,master bath, guest bath and powder room. She developed furniture placement, lighting, window coverings and paint. She even helped us move in. I would highly recommend Details for any project.

Details Designs helped me dress my daughters' new bunk beds and give the master bed a makeover. Barbee was very helpful in establishing a palette of fabric options that was not overwhelming and within the style I had outlined. She was pleasant and helpful and dedicated to installation and follow through. Barbee kept to the budget and had very good suggestions.

I hired Barbee and her team for remodeling the master bedroom. The project included a custom leather and wood headboard, new wall and ceiling paint, popcorn ceiling removal, custom roman shades, custom bedding accessories (bed skirt, duvet cover, shams and boudoir pillow). Details is a pleasure to work with. They provided detailed cost estimates, completed the work on time and to the estimates, and delivered creative solutions to bring my master bedroom dream to life! I would definitely hire Barbee James and her team for my next interior design project.
