We hired BA design for landscaping and for designing and building customized furniture pieces for our home. They were incredibly professional. The timeline in the project was slightly off, but that was due to the last minute changes we made. Workmanship and service that should be applauded.

We hired Jennifer of BA Designs to revamp our East Bay garden. It had been untended for several years before we bought the house. Jennifer did a fabulous job. She is a great listener, great communicator, and handles collaboration (with hardscape vendors, horticultural colleagues) well. The design work came in on time and on budget. Luckily we'd wanted to focus on drought-tolerant plants (mostly South African as it turned out), and our water use went down 60% after installation of the garden--just in time for the drought. The design itself is fabulous--it retained the best of the hardscape items we inherited, built a bit more as appropriate, and provides us both with a visual sense of abundance (to link up with our neighbor's roses-and-Mexican-sage lot next door) and with lots and lots of edibles through the year. BaDesign (Jennifer Ivanovich and Branden Adams) provides elegant, timeless designs and products of the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship. Both designers are professionally trained and experienced. Jennifer Ivanovich, Landscape Architect, designed and oversaw a redesign of my front and back yards. The entire project took about 1 ½ years from initial contact through completion of the installation by the landscape contractor. Her work is creative, unique to the setting, and meets her high standards as well as the aesthetic of the client. Her plans which include thumbnail photos of plants and materials are accurate, detailed renditions and works of art. Branden Adams designed and fabricated a refined steel and wood arbor of Port Orchard cedar and powdered coated steel and four Corten steel planter boxes of varying lengths and heights. He is an exceptional designer, craftsman and perfectionist whose work is visually and emotionally pleasing. I thoroughly enjoyed working with BaDesign and felt that it was a comfortable working relationship, professional and also extremely friendly. I had no hesitation about making contact any time during the project to ask questions and/or make suggestions. Timelines were met given the unexpected delays of any project and budget estimates were realistic. I am extremely pleased with the results which convey beauty and well-being. My friends and neighbors continue to comment on the wonderful design and choice of plants and materials. I highly recommend BaDesign to anyone who appreciates creatively, elegant contemporary design, and quality materials and craftsmanship.

Jennifer and Branden were wonderful designers and collaborators. We have a tiny parcel, but dreamed of a modern edible garden that could offer treats year round. Through a lot of design tricks, unique planting types (ie espaliers), careful material choices, and great custom planting accessories (trellises, planters, and lighting) we packed in 12 fruit trees, five kinds of berries, a grape wall and had plenty of planter space for seasonal veggies and herbs. There's not a season where the garden does not look great and produce well!

BaDesign does amazing work--expert craftsmanship, great understanding of materials and details, excellent design. I have two yellow shaker stools, and two palette tables. Branden Adams's furniture and architectural pieces are works of art, and form the centerpiece of each room. In addition, BaDesign created a custom sliding wall panel for our studio, and designed and built other elements for our home that are functional and exquisitely beautiful. Exceptional quality, great experience, great product.
