Passionate & Collaborative Interior Designer Based in Rochester Hills
Welcome to August Grace Interiors! I'm Lisa and I am passionate about creating inviting and functional living spaces! I feel strongly that your home should evoke your personal character and that of your family. You should be excited when you walk into your home. It should be a place of rest and relaxation, not a place a stress and chaos. We have enough of that these days! The right design can give you that relaxing feel when you walk in the door. I prefer cozy, embracing styles. I like a home to be inviting and have character. I believe your home should tell your story. I truly believe that people who know me walk into my home and say "yes this is Lisa's home". I was lucky enough to find a home that exudes a ton of character. It's a cape cod style...which I have always loved! It has been my labor of love. Making this home my own has been tons of fun, and you will get to see some of the character here on my page. I’d love to help you with your design dilemmas and projects! My experiences have given me a lot of lessons over the years and my training is also worth taking advantage of. Whether you need help selecting tile, you are preparing your home to sell, or you have a large project and you are not sure where to start, contact me! I am here to offer you all of my expertise and create a space that you will love to live in!

I initially found August Grace on Houzz, and from the very beginning they took the time to get to know me and my family, our style, what we were looking for, and areas we needed the most help - and developed a flexible partnership model that worked perfectly for us! Together we built and designed our entire new construction home, and August Grace truly made our dreams come to life! From our speciality designed chef's kitchen, to our statement making wooden beams, fireplace, and dining room, to the coziness of our living room and all of the furniture and decor in between, August Grace has been there every step of the way guiding us to make our house a home! Home building and design is a marathon, not a sprint, which is why I'm so glad to have found August Grace. They continue to help us design even some of the most intricate corners of our home, and have truly become dear friends to us in the process. I cannot recommend Lisa and the team enough!

Lisa was an ease to work with. A really kind person. She took my vison, added some insightful suggestions and made my dream room come true! I appreciate how I was apart of the process and she was able to articulate what I could not. Her eye for colors, materials and matching of it all is flawless! I will definitely be reaching out to her for my next design home project.

Lisa assisted me with a bathroom remodel. I had a budget to work with and Lisa was excellent at helping me adhere to my budget, all the while helping me determine and execute my vision. Lisa was helpful from the beginning to the end of the project. She helped me pick out the perfect paint color by offering a paint pallet. I loved that Lisa gave me choices. She did the same with the flooring. Lisa knew we didn't want to tear out the tile floor. She ordered several different floor options and brought them over. The floor was laid directly over the tile. We were having a professional paint the existing vanity and Lisa guided me with color selection. Lisa didn't stop there. She helped me find the perfect decor from the shower curtain, mirror, lighting, counter tops, to the art on the wall. I highly recommend Lisa to help you accomplish the vision you have for your remodel. She will also help you if you are struggling to put together the pieces to create the perfect vision. Lisa uses "vision boards" which helps one see what all the pieces would look like together.

August Grace Interiors was awesome to work with! She was able to determine my style and my goals for my home to implement beautiful updates to my living space within my price range. She developed a vision board that captured my style to a tee, she was always prompt for meetings, returning emails and calls. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my home updates! August Grace is amazing!

There was something missing in my living room after purchasing new furniture. After a year started second guessing myself that I made a mistake with my purchase. Then August Grace Interior transformed my living room, I was amazed by the outcome. Just fell in LOVE with my new living room! August Grace Interior I highly recommend and definitely will be using their amazing and unique services in interior design in the near future. I can't Thank them enough!
