Corey designed our kitchen to fit my accessibility needs, with lower countertops, drawers and pullouts to make it wheelchair friendly. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen. Corey was a pleasure to work with, always showing up with a smile and a great attitude and was very patient and helpful with my requests, decisions, changes, and ideas. I would recommend this company to anyone doing renovations!

My husband and I have chosen Corey Klassen as we have seen the results from our neighbours. It was a huge renovation on a 2 level condo, we have a new front entrance & stairs, flooring on 2 level, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living & dining rooms. Corey is an exceptional designer, his sense for colours and styles were impeccable. Corey guided us towards a refreshing, natural, contemporary style. He created a project binder which consists our project notes, shopping list, deliverables & mood boards for us to keep. When my husband and I started to consider a renovation of our two level condo, we were referred to Corey Klassen. We met with Corey, along with a couple of other designers, and Corey stood apart as the best fit for us. He was personable, listened to what we had in mind, had some intriguing ideas, and was flexible to meet with us based on our availability which was very important to us given our busy schedules. Our overall experience working with Corey during the 3 phase design process was exceptional. Our renovation consisted of a kitchen, three bathrooms, entryway, replacing the stairs, replacing the living room fireplace, and lighting throughout. My husband and I used the houzz app to capture images of designs we liked and shared our ideabooks with Corey. He was able to translate our preferences into tangible designs, color palettes, and products, while keeping our budget front of mind. Corey always had a positive attitude. He demonstrated patience when we couldn't make a decision and required more options and in some cases he acted as a mediator when my husband and I had a difference of opinion and he helped us land on an agreement. Corey's attention to detail was outstanding. He provided very detailed specifications with precise measurements, exact product selections, paint colors, etc. This design 'bible' proved to be invaluable for the contractor during the construction phase. We also benefited from Corey's knowledge of contractors. He provided contractor options who we contacted for quotes, met with, and checked references for in order to select the contractor for our job. Corey continued to be involved throughout the construction phase and worked closely with our contractor to troubleshoot any challenges faced along the way. Together, they would present us with options and a recommendation which we typically followed. It was a smooth process. We are thrilled with the results of our renovation project! We love the design and would most certainly use Corey's services again in the future. We have already referred Corey Klassen to friends and neighbors based on our positive experience working with him.

Corey did a terrific job re-designing the main floor of my townhouse. It included a complete new kitchen, pantry; fireplace and ideas for new furniture. He listened carefully to my own views and ideas and developed various design and material options in what was a collaborative process. His attention to detail, and good communication skills also contributed to the overall success of the project.

I knew from our first meeting that Corey would be great to work with. Although we knew that CKID sort of specialized in Kitchen and Bathroom design, we were wanting to know if we could renovate our entire living space to meet our growing family's needs. Corey designed a brand new house that specifically met our needs, was beautifully laid out and organized. Corey worked with us through the entire project, seeing us from permits to finishes, through an unfortunate contractor false start to a thankfully much better contractor for us, helping endlessly and patiently with sourcing, selecting, overseeing, measuring, confirming, approving and helping us handle the general stress of a full-house reno. It is hard to imagine having undertaken the project without his help and even 2.5 years later, I still think of Corey whenever I stop to appreciate the seemingly effortless functionality and ergonomics of our new home. I enthusiastically recommend CKID to anyone I know who is thinking of undertaking a reno.

We hired Corey to help us space plan our basement/recreational room. He was able to create a space that really worked for our family while maximizing storage. He brought ideas to the table that we didn't even think of and we appreciated his creativity and vision. He was also easy to work with, very flexible, friendly and knows how to source out products/services. We would highly recommend Corey and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

I hired Corey to do the architect drawings for my first boutique Little Pink Door. This included the floor plan and reflective ceiling plan. He was incredibly helpful and patient. This was my first time going through this process and having him by my side at the North Van District meeting to apply for a building permit was so helpful. When changes were needed he was very quick and efficient in making those changes and sending the revised plans. Even getting his recommendations on counters, wall height, etc was great I'd highly recommend using Corey again and will do so when we open up LPD #2!

We started planning our kitchen renovation with the mindset that interior designers are only for the rich and famous. With a lot of changes in the layout and a limited budget, we thought there’s no way we can work with a designer. Speaking with Corey for the first time, we realized that he was the only one that respected our budget and was able to work with it without compromising our must-haves. His creative ideas/design, well planned drawings and attention to detail was top notch and enabled us to have what he quoted as “budget-friendly kitchen that looks expensive”. We love the big discounts we got from our appliances and furniture using his name, it would seem like you didn't pay him design fees at all. You're really saving your money using his expertise. He takes care of the details so you can stay sane with the whole process. An active listener, he is also very mature, encouraging, professional and really fun to work with. He’s won multiple awards so we consider our kitchen a winner too! The whole process was totally stress-free, we’re so happy with the turnout and felt really, really good with our decision to have him design our kitchen for us.

Corey provided design consulting services for our major kitchen reno ($80k). He gave us great advice and direction, had great ideas that suited our taste and budget and took care of all the many details involved. We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen and while we truly feel it is our kitchen, we could not have done it without Corey.

We hired Corey to redesign a dated laundry room. He increased our storage and came up with a few unique design ideas to overcome the limits of the space. We're very happy!
