We had a great experience with Arch City Granite. They were extremely accommodating with our ever changing schedule, reasonable prices and the installers did a really nice job. They took extra precautions to make sure to not damage my cabinets and the guy who came out to template made great design suggestions. I would definitely recommend Arch City and will use them again

The team helped me find the perfect and beautiful River Bordeaux granite for our kitchen remodeling project. Rahul helped me pick the just-right size and color of sink from Blanco. The layout and fabrication of the granite was perfect. The team did a fantastic job. We are overjoyed with the quality of work that made our dream kitchen come true. Now for the backsplash!

ArchCity Granite and Marble did an excellent job with the installation of the kitchen countertops. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, patient (when trying to make a decision among the vast choices of granite), professional, and efficient in the measuring, template forming, and installation of the granite. I would highly recommend ArchCity.

As a business owner, I was impressed with the patience the staff had with my selection of counters including the direction of the grain. They did not try to make me make any fast decisions to make a quick sale. The installers were professional and very detail oriented. Their experience showed in every aspect of the installation, from the kitchen to the pantry as well as the master bath. The counter tops are just gorgeous in my new dream kitchen! Everyone says WOW!! The main kitchen was White Pearl Quartzite.

We purchased $5,000 for granite counters with Arch City for a new home. Our countertop is River White. Our Salesperson was Kim Chambers. Our order was expedited our order. We have no complaint about the sales process.
A few days after the install we noticed rings forming on the counter that a day to clear. We had granite (purchased elsewhere) in our former home. We never had a problem with marks or rings. We called our salesperson and she informed me this was usual with new granite tops and as the sealer cured we would not have the problem. We accepted her answer. On 9/12/2016 the owner who was at my home stated some stones require more sealer. On 10/6/2016 Mike Lucido Arch City Granite was in our home and stated the sales person should not have told us this because they would have been out here the next day to apply more sealer. He said “that is why she is no longer a salesperson.”
Over the past 9 months we have noticed the areas where we spend the most time have gotten darker and dirty looking. We use a cutting board for everything. We use trivets for anything hot. We use coasters for our glasses. The only thing we clean our counter with is regular soap and water. We treat our counter like a delicate substance. The issue is clearly evident to the left of the stove. We have a glass cutting board right next to the stove that I use to sit cooking utensils, ingredients etc. on while cooking. If you move the cutting board you can see the area beneath it is the pretty river white we purchased. There is a distinct line where the cutting board ends to the rest of the counter which is now dirty gray / smudged. This is what we find all over the working areas of the counter.
In Mid August we called Arch Granite to request a service call. It took 3 ½ weeks for the owner to visit our home. We had an appointment for this visit on 9/12 at 3PM. He arrived at 6:30pm. The owner showed up, argued with me about the counter and wiped a bit of acetone on it which did nothing. He said he needed a cleaner which was on order. Wouldn’t you think this company would have this cleaner for service calls? He said if this sealer doesn’t work he would need to apply a paste and that we would have to wait 72 hours before using our counters. Then our counters would need to be sealed again. The owner said some granite need extra sealer -- what I assume happened is that in expediting our install the counters were not properly sealed prior to install and this is why they have discolored and absorb any liquid. The owner said he would return the following Tuesday with the cleaner.
The following Monday 9/19 the owner called and said the cleaner was still on order and that he would plan to arrive the following week.
On Monday 9/26 I called to and was told Josh and Mike would be at the home on 10/3.
Josh and Mike Lucido, a manager arrived and cleaned the counter with HANAFINN Rejuvenata ACTIVE™ is a powerful, natural active enzyme cleaner concentrate for both heavy duty and light duty (regular) cleaning of all natural stones, tile, grout, brick and other hard surfaces. This product can be purchased on Amazon. The towel used to wipe the cleaner on the counter showed some dirt was removed and a very slight improvement was made.
Mike then informed me the owner wished to try a poultice. Mike and Josh left and Josh returned a few hours later with 5 small cans. Each can covers up to 30 inches. Our total counter 56 SFT with about about 2/3 of that stained and dirty. Needless to say there was not enough to cover the whole counter. Only the area by the sink and left side of the stove were completely covered. The other parts of the counter were only half way. The instructions stated to apply the poultice ¼ inch thick. Because there was not enough material it was applied paper thin. It was dry in less than 24 hours and created intense orange fumes. Five days later we still smell fumes. The kitchen could not be used for three days. Neither Mike nor Josh have every applied or worked with a poultice. Their only experience with the product is from the owner.
On Tuesday 10/6 Josh and Mike returned. They cleaned the counter and Mike states he sees an some improvement and the delineation by the stove is not as evident. What I see if the entire area is now darker and has a greenish tinge to it – so not only is there no improvement it is worse. Perhaps the chemicals in the product have reacted to the cleaners and other substances in the pores of the counter. Mike states that it what the stone should look like. My comment is that the stone did not look like that when we purchased it. We have an entire section that was not covered by the poultice to compare. We purchased river white. Not river green.
Arch City now wants to do a poultice again, this time following the directions on the can. They estimate 15 - 20 cans of the product will be required and used. We have reservations about this tactic (1) fumes and potential health hazard and (2) poultice could make the problem worse given what we see with the first try.
On Thursday 10/8 I contacted the manufacturer for the product they wish to apply. I spoke with their technical services for installation manager. This is what I was told:
1. This product is meant to be a “spot” treatment and they would not under any circumstances apply more than 2 or 3 cans at a time.
2. In addition to various solvents and isopropanol the product contains linseed which causes the majority of the fumes. Unless all of the windows are open and large fans are available to vent the home, the smell will permeate the sheet rock, couches, furniture etc.. and it would take months to rid the home of the smell.
3. The fumes are hazardous to health. Again, why she absolutely does not recommend more than a couple of cans. She is surprised family members did not fall ill using 5 cans. Given we have a family member with severe asthma she does not recommend using more than 1 can.
4. In addition to the hazards, there must be at least 1 inch diameter around the area to be treated to allow the product to pull the stain out. The farther you are from the clean area the least likely it is to work.
During the last contact with Arch I suggested a replacement counter. Mike said flatly that was not going to happen as there are no refunds and Arch City does not guarantee their counters and there are no refunds. He also states he could quote “have a dozen stone experts tell me the counter looks fine.” Well, the problem is the stone may look fine to him; but it is not in the condition which we purchased it.
We believe the problem to our counter originated from the install. The counter was not properly sealed as evidenced by the water stain issue we reported to our salesperson Kim Chambers. Arch employee Mike Lucido stated Kim Chambers was negligent when she advised us to ignore the staining on the counter and stated had he known of that issue they would have come back out to seal the counter the next day. There are three witnesses to this statement: myself, Arch employee Josh and my adult son Josh who was in the next room and who could clearly hear the conversation.
We believe the improper sealing of the counter by Arch lead to the staining despite our diligent care over the previous 9 months. As such we desire a full refund for the counters including tear out of the counter and compensation for any damage to cabinets, back splash etc… which occurs due to the tear out.

I found the service to be excellent. We used them for a kitchen remodel where we were our on contractor. They accomodated the scheduling well. The measurement crew was quick. Turnaround from measurement to installation was only a couple of days. Installation was quick and clean. They also had the best prices for granite. Would definitely recommend.

There are many companies that install granite, but the detail work with regards to measuring and cutting make all the difference. My granite countertops were so perfectly cut that the seam is nearly invisible. I met with another company that didn't follow the guidelines for bracing, etc, and it was a little scary to think that they were in the business.
Arch city is not the cheapest, but they were professional from the start to the finish.
