Archadeck of Nova Scotia

We had a great experience with Archadeck for our front porch. We took comfort knowing that all bases were covered (i.e. permits and inspection). We loved seeing the digital rendering of our project and we actually think that seeing our project before it was started prompted to make changes that we wouldn't have made otherwise! They were respectful of our property and that of our neighbours. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for another project.

We are so delighted with our new deck! When I think of last year, a snow like we have just had would have demolished the deck we had! I love the cupboard under the enlarged deck which the carpenter suggested & the lift up door to dispose of snow outside a basement door was ingenious! Thanks so much! Heather Cook

We had the folks from Archadeck come and install a metal railing on the front step and stairs of our house, and from beginning to end it was a pleasant experience. When we called and made an appointment with Archadeck the Sales Representative that visited us was very prompt and courteous, and did an excellent job explaining the various options that could meet our needs.. When we visited the Archadeck deck office, to discuss their recommendations and the detailed project plan once again the Sales Representative that looked after us did an excellent job explaining the detailed project plan, and exactly what we could expect. Finally the people that executed the detailed project plan were very professional, and did an excellent job carrying out our railing installation. We are extremely happy!!

Archadeck recently finished a project for me and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! It was my first time dealing with them and I was so pleased with the level of service they gave me and my project. They were great to deal with from the initial phone inquiry to the inspection of the finished job, and the project was completed right on schedule! They were a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them. I have another project in mind and I will definitely be calling them.

Extremely happy with Archadeck from beginning to end of our deck project. The final product looked exactly like it did in the initial plans. The crew was professional and clearly take pride in their work. We were fully informed every step of the way and even the smallest of details were taken care of. The new deck has made such a big change in our backyard. So excited for summer!

I was incredibly impressed with both the service and the quality of the work. The deck is beautiful. The cost was a bit more than I had planned for but it was worth every cent. You get what you pay for!

Archadeck rebuilt my old back deck and added a beautiful gazebo with a stone fireplace inside it. The masonry on the fireplace was a work of art! We are very happy with the gazebo. Most importantly, the team was very responsive during the project, always arriving when they said they would, and always keeping me informed about any delays (which were unavoidable during the pandemic, but I appreciated the transparency and the responsiveness of the team.) This was probably the biggest reason why I went with Archadeck - to be sure I would get a timely response when I called or emailed about the project, and they did not disappoint in that area. They were very accessible and reliable and always responded right away.

My wife and I are super pleased with the work that was done. We started with Archadeck 14 years ago when they built our 2 tier deck. They did a great job, the design team helped us come up with our own design. They took all the stress out of the project, handled all the paper work getting city approval. The carpenter that built the deck was friendly and did a wonderful job. We were so impressed with the quality that we contracted Archadeck to come back the following year and close in under the upper deck into a shed. This is the third time we have contracted Archadeck to come back and add an extension onto our existing upper deck, no fuss or muss, no stress. They helped me come up with the design and kept me informed throughout the whole process of approval. Arthur and his team came in Feb to built it in less than a week, so now we have it ready to enjoy when the weather turns nice. Most stressful thing now is picking out the new deck furniture. I would recommend Archadeck for any home project, especially if you are looking to complete a big home project stress free, their quality designs and workmanship are hard to beat.
