Anomal Design + Fabrication

Anomal constructed a custom made king sized platform bed for us. And wow. What we had imagined was a step up from a rough pallett bed, and what was delivered for exactly the budget we had agreed on was stunning, detailed, unique, green-friendly, thoughtful and well-thought out. Anomal had put in enormous effort to make every last detail a work of art. It's too bad that it sits under our mattress because it is the most beautiful piece of furniture in our house!

I had worked with Chris and Damian on other projects and knew right away that I wanted to have them do the work in my own home. They built custom counter tops for our home that are beautiful, durable and elegant.

Chris and Damian were consummate artisans, artists, and businessmen. They designed, crafted and installed a board-formed concrete fireplace surround that is both stylish and timeless. Through several conversations with them (in my home and in their very cool workshop), they were able to understand the spirit of what I wanted while bringing their own creativity and expertise to bear, creating something original and beautiful. What is more, Chris and Damian were very easy to work with. From start (first phone call) to finished product, the entire project was no more than 2 months, maybe less (including Christmas break). This is especially impressive because we live an hour away from their workshop and they travelled back and forth several times to finish the job. They were very personable, accommodating, and reliable throughout. Very highly recommended, Anomal worked with our Architect, builder and ourselves to custom design three bathroom countertops with integrated sinks out of pre-colored concrete as well as a large kitchen island. They were on time, on budget and nailed what we were looking for. We are now in our third year and everything has held up perfectly. These guys are real artists and designers!

I met Anomal Design + Fabrication in 2014. Preparing for an empty nest and with a desire to travel, we sold our single family home and purchased a turn-of-the-century four-family home in Vermont's State Capital. The Anomal team helped us develop a vision for the "owners Quarters, to transform a mundane space into an inspired 2 BR, 2 BA home with modern amenities while maintaining, and even enhancing the historic charm of the property. From structural enhancements to custom bathrooms, laundry and kitchen areas, Anomal exceeded our expectations, and did so on a responsible budget - Kudos!

I have been in the high end building business for over 20+ years. I have seen a lot of artisans over the years. Anomal, are at the top of there game, they bring great knowledge of there trade and an out side the box aproch to design. I have admired there concrete work for many year so when it came time to redo our bath they were the first people I called. I went to Anomal, with an idea for a vanity counter and they guided me right through the process. The finish product was more than I had hoped for. Chris and his team at Anomal were amazing! Super professional, accommodating, flexible, and, most importantly, the countertop, integrated sink, and backsplash they created for us are beautiful! We receive compliments on it all the time and I wish I had thought to use them for more surfaces in our home. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any project you may have in mind. Anomal Design's concrete counter was the lynchpin of what would become my dream kitchen. Their capacity and skill in aligning to my ideal vision translated into an ideal renovation experience. The guys at Anomal are amazing at what they do. I have hired them at least 6 times over the last 5 years and everything that have done for me has been nothing short of amazing. They have an artful eye but yet functional. The last few jobs I had them do, I basically let them do what they wanted. Thats how much trust I have in their abilities to deliver a great product whether that would be a 40 foot concrete bar for all 4 of my restaurants or a commercial steel and wood parklet for my flagship restaurant!
