The challenge was to replace/ reverse a 100+ yr old stairway with new that meets code. Walls/studding were typical of old house- nothing was plumb. Andy's crew measured with extreme attention to details to fit the new staircase in a confined space. Andy fabricated and assembled the stairway off-site and delivered ahead of schedule and on-budget! Contractor assisted with installation. Would highly recommend Andy's services- very professional.

It is rare that I feel compelled to provide a written recommendation. My recent experience with Custom Interiors of Maine, however, leaves me wishing I had more words to describe our level of satisfaction with our completed stair renovation project. Even though our project included custom details - including an antique cherry newel post - we felt completely at ease each "step" along the way! I had the hardwood floors in my home refinished after 25 years of family use. The rooms flow into each other and the walls are full of windows. The bright light and low sun angles made it very easy to see any sanding imperfections and I was more than pleased at the smoothness of the work. The final finish came out great. The crew were polite, efficient, neat and professional. We are very pleased with the job and highly recommend the Custom Interiors.
