Fun and adventurous, Andrea brings friendly ease to her clients as a Designer. After growing up on the east coast, she has made the Twin Cities her home for the past twelve years. Andrea was raised in a family of entrepreneurs, which instilled her with a strong work ethic that is the foundation of every project she tackles. A strong communicator and easy to talk to, Andrea assists clients with the entire building process. From initial designs to selecting furnishings, she loves helping clients create their dream home. Andrea worked at Martha O'Hara Interiors for many years before starting her own firm.

TRIO Design and Build

Andrea was very easy to work with and had a great vision when it came to layouts and design. She is very knowledgeable about construction for a designer which as a builder/contractor makes the project go much better. She is also good at being flexible as the project changes. I would definitely love to work with her again!

Andrea helped us design our daughter's playroom. She worked within our budget, and her communication fantastic. Although it was a smaller project, she always made us feel like a priority. She had great ideas and was execute on them within our modest budget. I will definitely use Andrea's services again for future design needs.

Andrea helped us design our basement with a bar, wine cellar, and entertainment area, along with a full bathroom as well. She made the decisions we needed to be made so easy, but understanding our styles upfront through my pinterest page, and being a good listener. She also made herself available when we were free, knowing everyone has busy schedules, it was no problem trying to find time with her to review selections.

I worked with Andrea during our new home build and had a terrific experience. Andrea is wonderful to work with. She’s kind, responsive, timely, creative and extremely professional. She brought fantastic ideas into the project, all the while listening to my opinions and editing my ideas. After my home was completed, I sourced all my window treatments and some furniture pieces through Andrea. I highly recommend working with her to achieve beautiful results and to have a very pleasant experience. She’s just the best!

Andrea Surtel provided design services to us throughout our remodel of an 1894 home. She was always professional, friendly and fun to work with. She listened to what we did and didn’t like, went above and beyond on many occasions to research options we had questions about and worked within our budget to marry modern with Victorian style. Andrea selected lighting, tile, flooring, trim, paint colors and designed the exterior of our home, among many other design inputs. She was patient, creative and listened to us. We highly recommend Andrea!
