Founder of East & Gray Interiors, Andrea Durcik, had a drive to experience other worlds, and a passion for studying and protecting animals which led her to follow her dream to Africa. There the intersection of nature and design joined forces and inspired her own imaginative and eclectic designs and gave her the ability to recognize the importance of personal experience in shaping each person's unique design aesthetic.
East & Gray was founded on two core principle beliefs – that one should always be surrounded by things they love, and that the design process is a close collaboration between the client and Andrea. Traveling, animals, and all things design encompass Andrea’s life, fueling her creative energy every step of the way! Having Gray in the office brings a positive energy that nurtures the creative process and adds a touch of playfulness to all that East & Gray does. Traveling the world and seeking out hidden design treasures everywhere allows East & Gray to bring their clients the most diverse, exciting, and tailor-made designs. Through conversation, lots of listening, and mutual planning, Andrea brings each client's personal design philosophy to life by creating designs that seamlessly complement their lifestyle and tell their unique story through color, texture, and balanced arrangement.
Since 2015 Andrea has helped clients design complete custom homes, undertaken partial and entire home remodels, sourced unique statement pieces, and updated living spaces, providing designs for large scale remodels to simpler room makeovers. Andrea's distinctive aesthetic of effortless sophistication with a touch of bohemian whimsy are found throughout all her projects. Her curious nature propels her designs forward building upon her continuously evolving style. No matter what Andrea creates it always results in spaces that are warm, eclectic and inviting.
