From restoration to complete bespoke installations, we guarantee the highest quality work and pride ourselves on our excellent customer service. We pay close attention to the intricacies of flooring design in every floor that we fit.  Our most important guideline is excellency, where we believe there is no room for compromise. We approach each project individually and consider its specific requirements – which is why we always carry out a proper on-site assessment. This helps us to appraise the site conditions and gives us a clearer understanding of a client’s brief, so we can deliver the best results.   Wood is a wonderful natural material that becomes more beautiful when crafted. We are extremely passionate, experienced and knowledgable about working with wood. For us, its the details that make the difference between an ordinary and exceptional floor. We particularly relish challenging installations, as we have the technical ability, along with the excellent design and fitting skills, required to overcome any complexities.  We work with the latest equipment and continuously maintain and upgrade our tools. This allows us to work with minimal tolerances to produce seamless joints and accurate cuts, avoiding any unnecessary wastage. Dust extractors are connected to our cutting equipment and all furniture is properly covered and protected. They were so professional, polite and skilled - the floors look great! They were always on time and left the flat tidy at the end of each day. Before we booked Alin came round to look at the old floors and talk through the options available to us. He was knowledgeable and flexible when we asked for different options to be added and removed. Would really recommend.

Fantastic service and communication from beginning to end. Very happy with the end result of new flooring throughout open kitchen and 1st floor, removal of old tiles and carpet and restored staircase like new

Alin and the team were exceptional. From initial conversations right until delivery everything was done professionally. Time was of the essence to me and there were no delays. Additionally, the after sale process was second to none. There were a minor scratch that appeared when decorating the place and Alin came around immediately to get it fixed and also advise on best way to maintain it. Would highly recommend the company to anyone looking to get the flooring done.

A brilliant job from FinWood laying our new parquet floor. Alin and his colleague Lica were exceptionally precise and their attention to detail second to none: the finish on our new floor is truly excellent. They were both extremely courteous, immaculately tidy and punctual. Highly recommended.

Alin at Finwood was excellent! He was professional, friendly and very knowledgable about wooden floors and the works needed to repair our sagging joists and subfloor. He took the time to come round and advised us on our options, the scope of the works and the best flooring supplier, then patiently answered all our questions prior to starting the project and provided transparent details about the costs at each stage. Alin and his colleagues arrived on time every day during the works and progressed quickly and efficiently with the project. Alin provided us with regular updates throughout and explained the progress. The work was carried out to a high standard with lots of attention to detail! We are extremely happy with our stunning new wooden floors and definitely made the right choice with Finwood. Alin even provided after care on how to maintain and clean our new floor. Thank you!

Alin spent the time to understand what we wanted to achieve and guided us on everything from the best place to purchase our floor, to how to clean it once it was laid. His communication right from the start was considered, informative and enabled us to effectively plan our project. His team were tidy, polite and a pleasure to work with. I cannot fault Alin, his pre, during and post service has been exemplary. He is a perfectionist and the pride he takes in his work is infectious.

We are really happy with the work done which was planning and installing a wooden parquet floor throughout our ground floor. Communication was excellent during the planning phase and we sought and received a lot of advice. Each meeting was attended on time and the floor fitters themselves were diligent, tidy and polite. It was a real pleasure to hire Fin Wood and we are delighted with the results.

Alin and his team were so professional and courteous, and they did a wonderful job on our floors. The wood flooring really has transformed the look of our bedrooms massively! Alin is so detail orientated and helpful, you can tell he really cares about the job and making it perfect. They finished in less than the estimated time and did wonderful work. We would definitely recommend and will be using Fin Wood again when we need our floors maintained or updated.
