Right from the start with great suggestions on the backyard renovation by Ajool, the timely and professional work done by Dustin and his team, and the friendly and easy payment options with Jen. Project was done on budget and within the timeline provided. Would happily recommend this contractor to others!

We wanted our a small backyard to make it to a putting green. Ajool and his staff carefully levelled and adjusted ‘could-have-been-a-problem’ drainage. I highly recommend Coastal Design Landscaping. Oh, one more note, Ajool is so passionate about lightings and he suggested great lighting system. I would recommend anyone to ask Ajool this extra touch. He said, “You will feel like you are sitting at the resort!”

We have a backyard that abuts against a green belt but really wanted to finally showcase it as well as create an outdoor living space that we could enjoy all year long. Coastal built a beautiful retaining wall and stairs to an upper grass level, a beautiful paved deck and wooden privacy screen. Ajool’s suggestions around lighting were bang on. We now feel like our backyard has become a professionally designed park grounds. The final project was beyond what we imagined! These guys are amazing. And a pleasure to do business with - not something that can be overstated in the world of home improvement contractors. Ajool and the entire crew are to be commended!

We recently had our entire front and back yards landscaped by Ajool and his team at Coastal Design Landscaping. Our yards had been decimated by chafer beetles and could best be described as dirt pits with overgrown bushes and trees that may have been in fashion 20 years ago, but had become an embarrassing eyesore over the years. On top of that, our back yard was primarily hard pack, with only 1 or 2 inches of soil at best. So this was no small feat. We spoke to a good number of landscapers and Coastal Design impressed us the most in terms of their preparation, reputation, and creativity. Ajool arrived for our first meeting armed with a large scrapbook of sample work they had done and provided us with a vision of what we could do based on our budget. Before the work even began, Ajool had mapped out and prepared a detailed budget which we revised together so that we had a clear image of what would be done. Even with such clear expectations, the results were well beyond what we had imagined. Our back yard is gorgeous, with a stone wall edging new trees, shrubs, and ground cover, river rock forming a natural edge, and an incredible, lush and vibrant new lawn. Our front yard was transformed as well with a stunning stone path leading to the side entrance surrounded by colourful plants, ground cover, and bark mulch. Thomas also installed a drip irrigation system for our plants so all we have to do is mow the lawn once a week. Besides the level of professionalism, friendliness, hard work, and experience Ajool and his team brought to the project, we also greatly appreciated the level of respect and collaboration they showed us. We were kept informed throughout the project and they worked to keep us within budget even when issues such as the hard pack in the back yard was discovered. So we now have a beautiful and low maintenance yard that fit within our budget! We HIGHLY recommend them (and have already to several of our friends who are looking to transform their yards). But you'll want to book early as they are incredibly busy - which is the sign of a great company that does exemplary work.

We had a problem area in our yard. Thanks to Ajool's advice, design, and delivery, the end result is outstanding... even better than we expected. They constructed an attractive retaining wall and also rebuilt a stacked rock wall. They listened to our concerns, shared their expertise, and delivered on time and on budget. We have received so many compliments on the end result. We definitely recommend Coastal Designs!

Budget was adhered to and the unexpected hiccup encountered was discussed before proceeding so I would know what the additional cost would be. The crew/team that worked on my project were terrific...hardworking, on time, paid attention to detail and answered any questions that I had.
