Al and John have completed a number of projects in our home which have merged our modern aesthetic with the 1912 character house we bought. We come home every day and think "wow this is our place!" Candace Scruggs

Al Black is probably one of the most talented designers in Edmonton, he has also done work for clients in Calgary, Vancouver, Bahamas and New Zealand. His ideas are brilliant but still very functional. He has the ability to read his clients tastes and then present you with some very original designs. He has established very good working relationships with a circle of various trades and local companies based on their workmanship. His real talent shines with peoples homes but he is also known for doing commercial work as well.

I hired Al and John to renovate my kitchen and to also help me select window coverings for my upstairs rooms. Working with Above The Bank Interiors was amazing. They coordinated all the workers so the project was completed with the least amount of disruption to my family and on time. I love the selection of hardware, paint, & design. The shutters they selected for my window coverings keep me cool in the summer & warm in the winter! They were professional, kept me informed and great to work with.
