Our Senior Designer and Owner, Alan Nugent, Allied Member ASID, has worked with clients all over the region and the country. His experience in design, funishings, and fine art lead to truely stunning environments for our clients. Our Redesign, Staging and Move In Service specialist, Deb Aune has worked with clients all across the country. Deb has the uncanny ability to take what you have and love and help mold those precious items into a fresh, cohesive and very livable home for you. She also excels at staging your home for sale, by using what you have in ways that enhance your property. She is also available to help remove the stress of move in day to a new home by helping you place and structure the pieces you have in your new space. We believe a home is a carefully crafted environment, purposefully chosen to hold your life. I have hired Alan Nugent of Abode Interiors to help me with several houses and many projects starting in 2001. The last project he did for me was a new kitchen in our current house in 2012. Alan did the complete design and managed the installation project, coordinating all contractors. I asked Alan to have the entire project done in two weeks while we were cruising in the Mediterranean. From taking out old cabinetry, tile and granite, to installing all the new items. We got home to a beautiful new completed kitchen. Alan is an extraordinarily talented designer, and project manager, a quintessential professional, and also makes things FUN! A rare combination. I highly recommend Abode Interiors.

We were in need of a lot of help. We have this beautiful home set in the bluff country but our interior was stuck in 1996 - ALL GOLDEN OAK. Neither my wife nor I have any talent or skill in home decor so in January of 2016 we hired Alan Nugent to help us create a vision prior to remodeling. As soon as Alan entered our home he had a sense of a completely new floor plan as well as color schemes (he also helped with selecting furniture) . Alan is a true talent and the fact that we was easy to work and responsive to our needs made our remodel a great success.

I have worked with Alan from Abode on three remodeling projects. We have a 70's house with good bones and thanks to Alan it is a lovely updated home. The first project was furniture, window coverings and paint for our living room. A wonderful transformation! Next a master bedroom and bath remodel, much improved layout, great tile, color and window treatments. The last was a total renovation of the kitchen and family room. We now have a dream kitchen and beautiful family room. His eye for color and style is amazing. I'd highly recommend working with Alan.

Alan is outstanding! I have worked with him for over 20 years on a multitude of projects and I wouldn't choose to work with anyone else! He incorporates items that are special to our family into our design. He makes our home comfortable for us while giving it a 'wow' factor! His quality is amazing! He has impeccable taste and his knowledge is invaluable. We are now working with Alan to design our retirement home and are very excited to do this with him!

I was so pleased with the results of working with Abode. Alan was able to interpret my tastes with a design and color palate that created a very warm individualist look that perfectly expressed my husband's and my personality. He also respected the integrity of the architecture and design of the house itself and worked with its strengths and weaknesses. . He knows how to work with small spaces, a limited budget, and can create something that is updated, beautiful, inviting and unique. I loved his color sense and also his observational skills . He was able to use the inexpensive pieces of furniture and art I already had and blend them with a couple of key new pieces making everything look elegant and full of new life, He understands the desire for comfort as well as look and is open unpushy and unpretentious, but also creative and willing to help you see possibilities you might miss He makes decisions so much easier than trying to troll through stores and samples on your own. I highly recommend.

Alan is talented, attentive, on top of details, with a strong work ethic. We had a complicated remodel of an old farmhouse with additions on different sides. Took almost two years from planning to completion. He was fabulous and we love the result.

Alan helped us upgrade our "college dorm" furniture to stylish grown up furniture that fits our home and lifestyle. We care about the beauty of our home and even more, we care about the function. We have children and pets so there is no room for fussy and hard to maintain. Alan chose pieces we love and plan to keep for a long time. He has excellent taste, truly understood our needs, is lovely to work with, and helped us design spaces that work for movie night as well as a dinner party. We'd call him again!
