I've had a hard time deciding what to write because our experience was so amazing it's hard to put into words. John & Whitney took everything we wanted to do and made it better, more functional, and made recommendations to keep things in or under budget where we needed to so we were able to spend where it counted. They're attention to detail is outstanding, but above all their attitudes and personalities was what shined the most. Every little thing they helped with. Things I wasn't even prepared to have to do. Paint, design, layout, doors, hardware, floors, furniture. They took what we put into words and made it happen. Coastal, cottage meets modern... what? How does that happen. John & Whitney is how. Also, there were no surprises. That says a ton.the number we were given on the beginning was our number. Our incredible countertops, included, they don't hold back. So sometimes other people may be less, but get ready to be nickel and dimed everywhere. That didn't happen with them and was a great feeling. They shouldn't have taken us in as clients , we were a mess after Hurricane Matthew and had no clue what we needed to do. But instead, they accepted us and started work literally within a week of the storm. That alone is unheard of. When chocies got overwhelming and we were frustrated, they stayed calm and steady. There was never a time they were unavailable to talk to us. Phone, text , email- communication was always open. They ever doubled as a dog walker on some days. Lol We love them! Highly recommend!

It will be hard to explain to you how happy we are with the professional and exceptional design team at 27th South .. We were very nervous to hire someone to assist us with designing our home. (We just didn't want to hire the wrong company).... Whitney and John are amazing and in fact they are underpriced for what you get ... Hire them if you want your house to look amazing!!! It is great to watch people's reaction when they walk in our home for the first time they always say how beautiful it is.... They even comment that it looks better than a model home!! John and Whitney will fuse your style with new and current styles and make you proud of your home!! I am a believer and we will be using them again soon for the outside landscape soon... Was a fan of John & Whitney after seeing them on HGTV, but even more impressed after working with them on my condo (kitchen and bathrooms) remodel. They completely got my design style and had great ideas to maximize my space and budget! Completed the project in a timely manner, and every person who worked on the project was a consummate professional. So great to work with that I almost hated to see the project end! So happy with my little home and can't recommend 27 South any higher. They're the best!

John and Whitney are absolutely the best designers I've worked with since opening up my real estate investment firm in 2010. I have used them on countless projects to make my ideas come to life when I am completing remodeling homes as well as building new construction. Their attention to detail and ease to work with is what sets them apart from their competition. They know how to work within an investors tight budget to give you the most bang for you buck.

John & Whitney do incredible work! They pay attention to the smallest details and have really good prices. I had never used a designer before, and am so glad that I did this time because they just did everything for me and it all looked really good together because it was done all at one time. They painted my entire house, did tile floors in 2 rooms and furnished the main living areas. Highly recommend!!
