We started our search for an interior designer with Loudoun Interiors. We immediately loved Laurie’s personality and can-do attitude. She took the time to learn about us as a family and how we wanted our new home to look. We knew right away she was the perfect fit for us, and we hired her the next day. Laurie has an excellent sense of design and is very creative with utilizing various colors, furniture pieces, accessories, etc. She coordinates everything so nicely and utilizes our existing items in a way we would not have thought of doing. She is great at shopping and selecting the perfect items while staying within budget. She is honest, professional, and doesn’t try to sell or push items for you to buy. One thing she always says is, “I don’t want you to like it, I want you to love it.” Another thing we love about Laurie is her patience. We are currently working with her and she has been patient and flexible as we work through the process. We look forward to continuing our journey with Laurie and can’t wait to see the end results. We know it will be fabulous! Laurie is a remarkable person and a very talented interior designer. We strongly recommend her for any of your interior design needs.

Earlier this year, I got a recommendation to try to look into an interior designer from a friend. I have no design sense but wanted to make my new house's interior design a lot more elegant than I had previously done in the past. I was also a challenge in that I had no clue as to what I wanted, liked or had any examples of inspiration. After one designer was pulled off of the project, likely because of me being so challenging, I found a new designer, Laurie Stancil. She was beyond patient with me and came up with such great ideas that I could have never come up with (and hadn't after two years of living here). She was truly a heaven sent! I'm looking forward to doing more work with Loudoun Interiors on the rest of my home. What a great service!

Laurie is incredibly creative. I recently hired her to advise me on a downsizing when we sold our suburban house of 17 years and moved into an elegant apartment. She advised me on what to keep and what not to keep, and she designed the entire layout and design direction for the new space. She could visualize the new dimensions better than I could, she recommended furniture selection and placement, a few new pieces, and some fresh and different color schemes. If you can follow her ideas, and look at the pictures she shows you - when it's all brought together in the end, the design aesthetic is amazing and the colors go together beautifully. I'm an engineering company executive and pretty practical minded. Between her visual creativity and my asking practical questions all along the way - we managed to achieve a fabulous result !

Wonderful communication and service! I am very happy I had the chance to meet and work with Laurie. She is very talented and has a great taste. She contacted me a few seconds after I submitted my request and we set up an appointment that fit my schedule. Unlike other designers, Laurie does not try to sell you anything and offers her sincere advice. I asked her for help upgrading my master bedroom and her honest and great ideas helped us come up with a plan that fits my budget. If you are looking for someone who is talented, professional, honest and trustworthy, look no further – Laurie is the One and ONLY designer to go to. Thanks, Laurie!

Laurie helped us stage our house before selling and got us the exact price we needed to go to settlement. Her eye for paint color, placement of furniture, and de-cluttering gave us an advantage over other listings (competition) during the selling process. We will definitely collaborate with Loudoun Interiors to decorate our new townhouse. Thank you Laurie!

Lori was a very professional and a creative interior decorator. She was right on budget and made very good decisions on the house we have on the bay in Destin FL. We were so impressed with her we were happy to fly her in from IAD DULLES to VPS FT Walton Beach FL once a week for 2 months. Very enjoyable person and just loved her company. It was our delight to have here decorate our house from top to bottom.

We interviewed about 4 Interior Decorators, and are so thrilled we choose Loudoun Interiors for our home project. We found Loudoun Interiors met all of our decorating needs including painting and window treatments. Loudoun Interiors, especially Laurie Stancil was very Knowledgeable, talented, friendly and amazing when putting colors together. (Laurie makes it look so simple!) It was exciting to be apart of every detail and stay within our original budget. We love the new look of our home. Loudoun Interiors and Laurie Stancil you are so wonderful. Laurie Stancil of Loudoun Interiors provided design services for a new home over several months. Laurie assisted with the pre-construction selections for bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms including tile, cabinets, carpeting etc. Upon completion of our home she worked with us to decorate the living room, dining room, kitchen and 3 bedrooms. In addition to the selection of furnishings, draperies, light fixtures and other accessories, she assisted in the placement of an extensive art collection throughout the house. Laurie has an exceptional skill in achieving the clients vision. She understands color, fabric and textures and brings them together for a stunning result using the clients favorite pieces while incorporating them with the new purchases. We could not be happier with her work. We will be working with her to decorate the master suite and the basement recreation area.
