HUNDRED MILE

I was very nervous about purchasing something site unseen. The owner reassured me that he knew the Paola Lenti furniture because he was at the factory. We also knew the owner from a high end furniture store that we had bought furniture in the past (Luminaire). We were interested in the Obitry chair along with 2 other chairs and tables. He suggested the smaller Obitry would go best in the space. When it was delivered about 7 months later it wasn’t the same as the larger Obitry. You couldn’t sit upright in the smaller one, you sat side ways. The owner made us wait another 2 months to get a photo from the PLenti factory in how the smaller one sits. And it was sideways that the factory worker was seated. We wanted a chair to sit upright not sideways. I also noticed PLenti has changed this smaller Obitry version into a swing chair. Also the owner charged us $1800.00 delivery charge after it was delivered. We couldn’t return the chair till we paid the $1800.00. The owner also asked if we could put this smaller chair somewhere else in our home like it was a piece of art. We had to pay another $2100.00 to get it delivered back to the store. Also the other pieces had black mold on it. I emailed the owner and never heard back. Also when the new chair arrived the owner never checked in with us.

Hundred Mile was truly a one stop shop! With my help, we designed my dream living room, settled payment , and it was the couple Josh and Kristina who delivered the custom products from Italy and Spain to my house. Besides doing large scale work with them, I have also bought a number of their accessories at their retail shop in Rhinebeck. They are very personable, know about their products. It is impossible to see everything they sell based on the scope of their manufacturers, but they can definitely help you with your modern furniture, accessory etc needs.
