Despite the rustic look, the custom glass and cabinets made the room look modern and clean. I enjoy the balance of the two design elements.

We are thrilled of how this custom built bar turned out! The bar is made from reclaimed barn board found at a local mill in Connecticut. The countertop and backsplash are granite. The cabinets are refinished with some glass doors. The floor is plank flooring. A perfect place for entertaining family and friends.

A perfect blend of old world charm and modern luxury, this home is sure to be a neighborhood favorite. An open layout with inviting fireplaces make this the perfect place for entertaining and relaxing. Around the home you will find unique stone accents, wood and metal staircases, custom kitchen and bathrooms, and a rec room complete with bar and pool table. This craftsman style residence uses a mix of the Boston Blend Mosaic and Square & Rectangular thin stone veneer. It was used as a kitchen backsplash, interior wall accent, on multiple fireplaces, and stone archways. Great care was taken so the stones could be installed without a mortared joint. Corners were used along archways to create the illusion of full thickness stones and to allow for a more consistent and complete look. Scattered throughout, the mason cut custom large pieces of stone and wood to use as focal points. New England’s finest real stone veneer was the perfect choice to pair with the rustic décor. A bar like this is the perfect addition to any cottage or rural home. Using a tasteful selection of distressed wood as the waterfall bar counter adds character and charm to the dramatic cabinetry. The weightiness of the dark wood tones and black hardware is off-set beautifully by the white walls and the natural light that pours into this home, making the bar a noteworthy space. The rustic feel of the cabinetry and countertop extends into the decor choices, with wooden chairs and antique memorabilia decorating the countertop. Note the snug fit of the wine bar and cabinetry for displaying and storing your favourite drinks. Custom cabinets for this room was a must. We were able to create a custom size for items the owner wanted to store and display. Adding to the doors beauty is the fluted glass panels which concealed and silhouetted the items inside.
