Turkish Delight

One of the most unique features of this home is the central atrium. It is unconditioned space, with cork tiles over pavers over compacted dirt. The atrium adds abundant natural light to the interior of the home, cross-ventilation in the summer, and a protected gathering space in the winter. This shot is taken from the laundry room door.
