Small Country Garden

25 June 2015 seeded wildflower meadow (sown 2013) and feathered friends. This year has seen a predominance of the fabulous Ox Eye Daisy across all wildflower areas and roadsides. Each year tends to have different species being more dominant which make wildflower meadows interesting and surprising. Early cutting in May to a height of around 12 - 15cm can help to reduce dominance of a single species. All meadows need to be cut in the autumn.
