Landscaping Design Ideas

Boulders blend the line between the gravel road and the mulch landscaping beds. This adds an element of less formal support (see comparison in Versa-Lok wall above the rock that helps hold the side hill back) to prevent the planting beds from washing down. A downspout is buried and the outlet concealed within the boulder system. Excess water runs out through the rocks...this creates a fast track bypass for rain collected by the roof...which also alleviates the washout risk in the beds.
