Desperate to update their small, quaint, urban home we came up with a clean modern design that gave them more storage and a sassy look.

Once upon a time, this kitchen had ceilings only 8 feet high, only one window, no real storage, and very little light. Now, this glorious, cheery space boasts 10 foot ceilings, three new, giant windows, and incredibly efficient drawer storage with all the bells and whistles a home cook may ask for. This view is of the open sink wall. It cleverly houses the family's coffee making apparatus' in flanking storage towers.

Packed with Features on this main wall! Custom built Caliber Pro Range snuggled in between SwitchDoor 'Skinny Shaker' cabinet door/drawer fronts in Benjamin Moore Stonington Gray. Custom artpiece on Quartz with heat-proof resin by Miriam Aroeste under a powdercoated metal band on the Hood Fan (Ventahood) custom made black banding by Birdman the Welder. Custom built hood fan cover by Thistle Millwork. 29" deep countertops hide IKEA Cabinet boxes with a rear chase for extending electrical/gas and plumbing. LED open shelf detail with window on one side is centered with a mirror version on the other. Top Knobs Barrington pulls in Honey Bronze.

Homeowners in Richfield came to Castle looking to update their 1956 Kitchen in their ranch style home. The goal was to keep the same U-Shaped footprint of the kitchen while maximizing the cabinet layout configuration. The overall transformation is stunning. One major adjustment was installing the upper cabinets to the ceiling. This draws your eyes up and gives the room a larger feel with the added storage that was previously nonexistent. The java color stained Crystal Cabinets are balanced with clean polished nickel hardware. Another part of the project that was important to the homeowners was lighting. The existing configuration was dark, with very little over head light or task lighting. With adding in disc LED light fixtures in the ceiling, decorative pendant and wall sconce lighting over the sink, the space now is light and bright even with selecting darker finishes. To top off this project, Designer Tracy O’Donnell curated a gorgeous tile feature above the farmhouse sink. The picture framed Carrara marble herringbone mosaic tile features natural colors that play off the countertop and warmth of the cabinets beautifully. Overall, the homeowners couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!

The kitchen is a dream! We chose to tile the whole of the back wall with a pretty iridescent teal glass tile. When it catches the light you can see so many pretty colors! One single bowl stainless sink looks out over the balcony and we chose the Moen touchless faucet to keep things clean

This was an existing bar area and we painted and reused the upper, and all else is new and matches the kitchen.

New Cabinetry, Granite counterops, Black appliances and LVT Flooring brought this outdated kitchen to life. This space while small allows for the most storage possible and the best looks on the market.

A blue and grey theme and peninsula island space achieve this client's ambitions for this extended kitchen area. The Brief This client sought a kitchen design to suit the modern rear extension being built at their property. They favoured a contemporary theme with plenty of modern inclusions to add daily function to their new kitchen space. A breakfast bar or island was a key requirement, as a place to perch and to make the area more sociable. Design Elements A combination of Indigo Blue and Light Grey cabinetry has been utilised to achieve the modern design this client favoured. The furniture is from British brand Trend and is their Matt effect foiled slab option, which has been paired with integrated chrome handles. To best utilise the space within the new extension, designer Alistair has created a L-shape layout with tall units used to house appliances and important storage space. The island area was a key desirable, and Alistair has incorporated this by using a wrap-around peninsula design. This design adds storage and provides a social space to perch while cooking or for more casual use. The island and entire kitchen are fitted with hard-wearing quartz work surfaces from brand Silestone. The chosen finish Snowy Ibiza is a white veined option that teams really well with grey accents used in the room. To match the work surfaces and light theme a quartz composition 1.5 bowl Blanco silgranite sink has also been installed. Special Inclusions As well as a redesign of the kitchen area, this client sought to improve the usability and function of the space with a new array of appliances. A selection of Neff appliances have been specified, which where possible have been integrated to allow the indigo blue and light grey theme to take centre-stage. A Neff single oven, combination oven, refrigerator, freezer, hob, extractor, dishwasher and integrated washing machine have been supplied and installed as part of this project. Our team also installed some of the finishing touches to this project. Karndean flooring has been installed throughout the kitchen and island area, and the honed oyster slate finish combines well with lighter elements of the theme. To heat the new extension our team have also installed a full-height anthracite radiator close to the sink area. Project Highlight This island area is the highlight of this project, its unique shape incorporates useful storage and the perching area this client required. During construction designer Alistair recommended the widening of the doorway to increase spaciousness of the island, which adds a great flow in between the living room and kitchen. The End Result The end result achieves all the elements of this client’s initial brief whilst incorporating great design expertise from kitchen designer Alistair. This project highlights the fantastic results that can be achieved for extension projects. We are pleased to announce our project has been awarded the 2016 Best Kitchen Renovation under $25,000 by the Home Builders Association of Metro Harrisburg! Kitchen designed by Tracy West, project installed by Robert Sykora, and photos by Elliot Quintin. Jack and Ellen of Red Lion, PA chose a flat panel contemporary door style. The bar hardware complements the cabinets and appliances perfectly. The smoked glass backsplash is a perfect fit. The red glass accent line gives the space an elegant pop of color. Jack and Ellen added their red accessories finalizing the Wow Factor! This space received a total make over including DeWils cabinetry, Alterna flooring and Interceramic backsplash. Cambria quartz countertops and a functional farm sink complete the look.

A kitchen revamp was in order for a local chef and his wife who, manages a local B&B. The foodie duo were tired of their dingy, poorly designed, 1980's style kitchen and desired a bright and open work space where they can kick back and prepare delicious meals for themselves, when they aren't cooking for other people. The space was gutted and reconfigured, switching the sink and stove placement, and situating the refrigerator on the opposite wall, to create a better work triangle. Budget constraints dictated a plan that will be done in phases, and allows more cabinets to be added at a later date, where the open pantry currently lives. A rolling cabinet, with butcher block top, situated to the right of the stove, (unfinished by the cabinet company at the time of the photo shoot), can be pulled into the room to provide a portable island. Budget friendly materials were sourced, including luxury vinyl tile for the floors, that mimics the look of concrete, and laminate counter tops that evoke the look of granite. New lighting, bright subway tile and a sparkle of brass over the sink, make this new kitchen sparkle. Photos by Lisa Wood - Lark and Loom

Full kitchen remodel, original layout was a U shape with a soffit ceiling and popcorn texture. we remodeled with a new kitchen with a island, added modern recess lights, removed popcorn texture, and install SPC 100% waterproof flooring.

The kitchen got a total re-design with fresh finishes and more functional design. This kitchen is great for entertaining, just pop over to the side bar and pour yourself some wine or coffee. The island seats 6. We carefully planned the style to complement the homeowner's modern tastes, while keeping it soft to go with the home's traditional architecture.
