This kitchen had no windows so Pineapple House designers removed the hallway-kitchen, kitchen-dining and kitchen-living walls to gain a view/air/natural light. Pineapple House designed a window-like partition between the kitchen and foyer entry for both structural support/visual separation. Questo piccolo appartamento all'interno dell'Antico Borgo San Lorenzo, è stato recentemente ristrutturato pensando alle coppie che scelgono questa location delle nostre campagne per sposarsi. Si tratta di una deliziosa capanna in pietra con soffitto spiovente, travi in legno e mattoni di cotto, affacciata su un giardino. La necessità era quella di creare un spazio di benvenuto accattivante e vivibile durante i brevi soggiorni, sfruttando il piccolo ambiente cucina largo meno di 3 metri. Un progetto in cui sono stati utilizzati colori chiari per renderlo più luminoso e dove delle mensole sono state preferite ai pensili per non appesantire l'effetto d'insieme.

Double level island with dark Uba Tuba granite was removed and rebuilt to one level. Upper cabinets were painted with Valspar Cabinet paint in SW7271 On The Rocks and bottoms SW6994 Green Black. Ceiling was clad in Vinyl wall tiles that look like wood. Backsplash is straight stacked white glazed terracotta tiles. Custom build in around refrigerator. New Brass fixtures and cabinet hardware were installed. Island sink has matte black fixture. Both sinks are single bowl, black granite under mount. Wall color is SW6000 Snowfall.

Remodel and addition of a single-family rustic log cabin. This project was a fun challenge of preserving the original structure’s character while revitalizing the space and fusing it with new, more modern additions. Every surface in this house was attended to, creating a unified and contemporary, yet cozy, mountain aesthetic. This was accomplished through preserving and refurbishing the existing log architecture and exposed timber ceilings and blending new log veneer assemblies with the original log structure. Finish carpentry was paramount in handcrafting new floors, custom cabinetry, and decorative metal stairs to interact with the existing building. The centerpiece of the house is a two-story tall, custom stone and metal patinaed, double-sided fireplace that meets the ceiling and scribes around the intricate log purlin structure seamlessly above. Three sides of this house are surrounded by ponds and streams. Large wood decks and a cedar hot tub were constructed to soak in the Teton views. Particular effort was made to preserve and improve landscaping that is frequently enjoyed by moose, elk, and bears that also live in the area.
