Emerge BuildsOlder home that had some storm damage from Hurricane Florence, and we came to find out a water leak behind a cabinet causing much of the structural floor system to become compromised so sistered and repaired as necessary to allow the homeowner to feel secure working in her kitchen again.
SoKiplingA listed very old cottage was in need of a new kitchen that would be sympathetic to the space and the chestnut dresser the client already had.To maximise the space, we moved the Everhot cooker from the end wall to the side. We were then able to utilise the corners better with an open shelving unit made out of reclaimed pine and oak.a new sink unit with cupboard with drawers and doors was also made and 2 pull-out worktops added to provide more work surface and a breakfast table. The height of the ceiling also allowed us to fit a shelving unit for the pots and pans and free up the lower shelves.
Castle Building & RemodelingThis 1929 Tudor kitchen and porch in St. Paul’s Macalester-Groveland neighborhood was ready for a remodel. The existing back porch was falling off the home and the kitchen was a challenge for the family.
A new kitchen was designed that opened up to the dining room, to create more light and sense of space.
A small back addition was completed to extend the mudroom space and storage. Castle designed and constructed a new open back porch with Azek composite decking, new railing, and stunning arch detail on the roof to coordinate with the home’s existing sweeping lines.
Inside the kitchen, Crystal cabinetry, Silestone quartz countertops, Blanco composite sink, Kohler faucet, new appliances from Warners’ Stellian, chevron tile backsplash from Ceramic Tileworks, and new hardwoods, laced in to match the existing, fully update the space.
One of our favorite details is the glass-doored pantry for the homeowners to showcase their Fiestaware!
