The kitchen & living room swapped spaces during the renovation & the fireplace was entirely removed in the interest of maximizing floor space. The reconfiguration gave the kitchen much needed breathing room & also accommodated a cozy dining nook. In the renovated family room, a new gas fireplace is flanked by built in bookcases that maximize functional storage and modern style.

Designed by Gail O'Rourke from White Wood Kitchens, this Cape Cod kitchen compliments the ocean with Agean Mist painted cabinets. The cabinets feature Roseburg doors and are made by Fieldstone Cabinetry. The countertop is a Montgomery quartz that is accompanied by white subway tile. White appliances fit the overall vibe of this kitchen, allowing for fun accent colors to be added later. The bathroom has a natural cherry vanity along with a built in linen closet. There is also a laundry cabinet. Builder: Campbell Construction.

This modern kitchen is created from high gloss Alvic Luxe® and features Subzero Wolf appliances. A flush mount range hood in the ceiling soffit keeps views wide open. The porcelain tile backsplash is in a Carrara marble style.

We found working with Eco German Kitchens a real pleasure. Whilst working with 2 other building contractors on our home refurbishment project it was refreshing to have a company that were professional from conception to completion. After 3 meetings, Sabine designed our amazing kitchen and helped with really important factors like window placement, flooring type and wall postioning, as the kitchen was the main focus of our extension project. We had a concept of what we wanted to achieve and we really loved the product Eco had in the showroom. We were genuinely excited to be working with the team at Eco. We had a really tight deadline, which was booked months in advance, Eco were right on time with the installation team. When they arrived the design had to change slightly due to fabrication of the new extension. Again this was no problem for Eco as the professional installers and Sabine provided 2 solutions, both were really nice, so again this proved vital to the look off the project. The kitchen came in on budget, we felt it was important to disclose our intentions early on, as our whole refurb project was very costly. As the kitchen was our main focus point, we were adamant it had to meet budget and tick all the boxes. Eco returned some months later due to a product fault, the product manufacture responded same day and the Eco installer replaced the faulty product as soon as it arrived with us. The kitchen looks amazing and works seamlessly, the design suits us perfectly and its a real joy to use. The whole team have been fabulous and we would definitely recommend them. In order to meet the growing requirements of a young family, DFA worked with the client to design a single storey extension that transformed the internal layout of the ground floor, providing both space and light whilst using existing features to add interest and delight. The new glazed gable provides generous light to the north elevation and the asymmetric roof allows increased ceiling height and consideration to neighbouring properties.

Here we have some great images from a ground floor extension and interior we completed over in North West London. The kitchen formed part of a full ground floor renovation and extension, with the kitchen being doubled in size and combined with a dining table leading to the out door area. At the end of the room the media unit was built bespoke to include a lounge area making the kitchen a complete family room for entertaining and relaxing in. Another room in the North west London ground floor renovation is this cosy living room, the bespoke storage unit built into the dividing wall between this room and the kitchen allows for an array of books and curios to be displayed and made a feature of. Coupled with the concealed units dispersed across the unit, the gloss white painted finish allows the vibrant blue paint and displayed objects to become the focus. Finished with beautiful tanned leather couches and LED lighting to make the room comfortable for reading and socialising.⁠
