Here we have a beautiful, white kitchen that features cabinetry from Wood-Mode. There are stainless steel appliances, including a stainless steel vent hood, which make any kitchen functional and elegant. Stainless steel proves to be easy care and easy to work. The white cabinets on the wall are accented wonderfully with a dark-wooden island that has a countertop to match the rest of the kitchen. We always have a dark-wooden table that goes with the island to tie everything together. The decor in this kitchen includes a gorgeous flower arrangement of yellow tulips, fruit bowls and white candles.

The clean lines of this contemporary kitchen compliment the adjacent dining and living room in this Chicago high rise condominium. Carrara Blanco porcelain floors from Porcelanosa blend perfectly with the grey-toned wood floors. A Sub-Zero refrigerator, covered with cabinet panels, located on the opposite wall and blends in seamlessly to make the kitchen look more spacious.

This beautiful custom kitchen was designed by Gail O'Rourke the of White Wood Kitchens using Fieldstone cabinetry. The kitchen features White Dove, Roseburg doors. The counter top is Costa Esmeralda granite, which forms a peninsula perfect for a cozy breakfast for the family. All cabinetry features soft close doors. The pantry, the same style as the kitchen, is filled with adjustable shelves. There is also broom closet, tucked efficiently into the side. The dishwasher fits under the sink's drainboard The goal of the project was to create a more functional kitchen, but to remodel with an eco-friendly approach. To minimize the waste going into the landfill, all the old cabinetry and appliances were donated, and the kitchen floor was kept intact because it was in great condition. The challenge was to design the kitchen around the existing floor and the natural soapstone the client fell in love with. The clients continued with the sustainable theme throughout the room with the new materials chosen: The back splash tiles are eco-friendly and hand-made in the USA.. The custom range hood was a beautiful addition to the kitchen. We maximized the counter space around the custom sink by extending the integral drain board above the dishwasher to create more prep space. In the adjacent laundry room, we continued the same color scheme to create a custom wall of cabinets to incorporate a hidden laundry shoot, and dog area. We also added storage around the washer and dryer including two different types of hanging for drying purposes.

This homeowner came to us with her basic design ready for us to execute for her kitchen, but also asked us to design and update her entry, sunroom and fireplace. Her kitchen was 80’s standard builder grade cabinetry and laminate countertops and she had a knee wall separating her kitchen from the family room. We removed that wall and installed a custom cabinetry buffet to complement the cabinetry of the kitchen, allowing for access from all sides. We removed a desk area in the kitchen and converted it to a closed organization station complete with a charging station for phones and computers. Calcutta Quartzite countertops were used throughout and continued seamlessly up the walls as a backsplash to create a wow factor. We converted a closet into a pantry cabinet, and new stainless appliances, including a microwave drawer completed this renovation. Additionally, we updated her sunroom by removing the “popcorn” textured ceiling and gave it a fresh updated coat of paint. We installed 12x24 tile floor giving the room a simple classic transformation. Finally, we renewed the fireplace area, by building a custom mantle and adding wood paneling and trim to soften the marble fireplace face and a simple coat of paint in the entry and a new chandelier brought a lighter and fresher impact upon entering the home.

This once closed off space gains light from the two adjacent rooms. White shaker cabinets and a warm grey island keep the colors quiet. Stunning white calcutta marble countertops steal the show. Faux bamboo stools with a Missoni yellow inspired pattern add a splash of color. We mixed chrome and brass metals.
